Okies I do not think I have seen the Tower thread and as I was replying to another thread my favorite Tower card popped into my head so I thought I would start us a thread on favorite towers.
My ultimate favorite tower, hands down, no contest is the tower in the Tarot for Cats. I shows a couple of cats feeling absolutly terrified by the vacuum cleaner ~giggles~. If someone knows of a link for this card and can post it I would appreciate it as it is quite hysterically funny but very effective.

I've found it Jewel, there's a picture here. You're right, it is very funny!
I'm not sure about my favourite Tower. I like the one in the Osho Zen (see attached picture), but I also like the one in the Portal Tarot that I got today.

Hard to say - the Tower :TTOW is definitely one of my least favorites in the deck. I like the Merry Day's http://www.merrydaytarot.com/ because it's not truly a Tower and the keywords are self-awakening. I also love the Gill one - but then again, I love the Gill deck ;)

The Cosmic Tribe Tower is brilliant. I love the way the tower is many telivisions stacked up on top of each other... says everything a modern tower card should... Love it! :D

for once i have to say Gendron. i am no fan of that deck but the Tower was one of the few majors i actually liked. it shows a goddess figure towering taller then the building and gently pushing it with a firm hand. like - "i am sorry, but this really has to go now"

I don't know if I have a single "favorite" Tower, but the Motherpeace Tower for me sheds additional light and incorporates several facets of this card's meaning.
http://www.tarot.com/images/decks/motherpeace/full_size/16.jpg
It shows not only the "shattering" energy but also the potential to direct/channel this energy toward a constructive end.
Recently I got another way of looking at this card. It appeared in my monthly reading, and my first reaction, with it being the Tower, after all, was the typical oh-great-just-what-I-need. But then it occurred to me that it was in the Querent position, i.e., how *I* am *responding* to the issues raised for me this month, NOT in a position describing what actually *is* or will be; and with this in mind, I looked again at the figure on the card and thought: Drama Queen. I'm acting like it's the end of the world as I know it, a huge upheaval, inevitable shakeup and probable disaster dead ahead, but what's the reality?
Interestingly, the card in the next position, the central challenge for me this month, is the High Priestess - suggesting to me that my real challenge is to get out of Drama Queen mode, make/keep space to be centered and introspective and listen to my intution, and in general handle things in a calm and grounded way instead of getting all agitated.
Long way of explaining that now the Tower - this Tower, at least - will always have the potential to be "the Drama Queen card." :D

Oh, I love that interp! LOL Very cool! Reminds me of my interp for the 9 of Wands. I always think of a football game and I chant "Defense! Defense!" LOL
There are 2 tower cards I really like: Goddess tarot, represented by the Wawalak (there is no actualy tower depicted here); and the Nigel Jackson tarot, the tower of babel.

I'm with Jema on the Gendron Tower. Just gorgeous. And I like the Matt Myers Art Nouveau Tower a lot, with the sense of a storm coming and being in the ruins. I'm not sure what I think of the Tower in that card being in the distance... perhaps it suggests you can get out of the way before the storm hits.

My favorite Tower is from the Fantastical deck. The colors are sooo striking and it's soooo spooky looking with all the bats flying from it!!
But I have to say I like the Tarot for Cats tower also!!! It's hilarious!! :D
