Alright... I know there are many, just in one deck... and you don't have to pick the one you identify as you... but which court card, from which deck is your fav and why?
I always like court cards that show people (couldn't stand the animals on the GreenWood)
I have been shuffling through all my decks to see which I like best and I think I have settled on the Knight of Cups from Thoth. Generally, I really like the court cards in the Thoth deck. The strong lines and perspective are excellent. I also really like the Princess of disks from Thoth.

It's a tie. I love the Queen of Swords :TQS in the Robin Wood deck and the Princess of Cups :TPC in the Goddess Tarot.

My general fav court card is :TQW I usually look for her first in each new deck after having looked through the Majors.
I also like :TQC in the Legend and in the Sacred Circle deck a lot.

i am with you on this one kayne - the Thoth have really strong courts and i think that was what grabbed me at first in this deck.
so instead of you lining them all up i would say ALL courts from Thoth except perhaps Prince of swords. my fav is the princess of cups perhaps because it is the court i have studied the most.
another deck with fine courts is of course the Gill.
(cannot forget the Gill)

The Princesses in the Spiral deck are my favorite courts ever. I think Princess of Pentacles would be my favorite of the bunch, but I love them all they are just so cute.
In general I love the Queen of Cups tho
The Princess and Queen of wands in Rohrig also are great.

My favorite court card is generally the King of Wands (also my inner teacher card). As to what deck ... If I had to say right now I would say the Robin Wood, but I would like to look through my decks before making that my final answer. Of overall court cards that I can understand easuly I would have to say the Cosmic Tribe. I found them easy to be the easiest of the courts for me to understand.

Queen of Wands - Dindrane from Legend deck
Knight of Cups - Oengus Og from Faery Wicca
Queen of Swords - Robin Wood
Princess of Pentacles - Goddess Tarot
Probably the courts from Robin Wood are my favorite overall, with Faery Wicca a close second.

My favorite court card is the Queen of Wands from Major Tom's tarot. Might be because it's a photo of my girlfriend. })
I also really like the Princess of Wands from the Spiral.
Jewel - What's an inner teacher card? How could I find mine?

The Queen of Pentacles from the Davis Celtic Tarot, 'cos it's me! I'll also admit a fondness for the Queen of Swords (Reason) from the Gill deck - I just had to buy that one, didn't I? After all, it had my name on it! :D
Oddly enough, the Gill's Princess of Wands (Transformation) is exactly right for the protagonist in the series of novels I write for fun.

Hey Major Tom! The inner teacher card is card that corresponds to your birth chart. It is in Mary Greer's Tarot for Yourself. It is within the first exercises in the workbook when you are working with your birth chart and date of birth.
Do you have that book? If not PM me and I can help you out with that in the later part of next week as I will be on travel and away from the computer in the earlier part of the week.

darn, i hate it when i can't find a picture of the cards i want to talk about.
i love the queen and king of pentacles from the new palladini. they're silouettes (whoa, can't spell that word...) with a night sky showing through their heads. also, they face each other when laid side by side. gorgeous.
all of the queens in the ukiyoe tarot are luscious.

OOOh interesting topic. Well, my favorite court card is the Queen of Wands...but since we are talking about courts in different decks here are the top picks for me.
King of Pentacles - Universal Waite (I know very unoriginal, but he looks so handsome in his cloak...my ideal man)
Knight of Disks - Thoth (always drawn to this one to. I don't read much with this deck but all of the artwork is beautiful.
Queen of Pentacles - Zerner Farber (she jsut looks so innocent)
Hmm...I jsut realized my favorite courts are Pentacles..maybe it's a sign. Okay, i'm freaking myself out.

I like the Knight of Pentacles from Robin Wood. He represents my
husband.
My least favorite is the Queen of Cups. She just strikes me as the kind of female I wouldn't want to tallk to at a party....she'd be flirting with all the men and batting her eyes.

he's riding a dolphin, with his arms spread wide and a friendly smile on his face. the blues of the card are wonderful to behold.
