The USA Network television show, "Monk," has now made a second reference to the Tarot.
In one episode, they featured a Tarot reader who discovered a murdered body.
In this additional episode, the bottim half of a torn Tower card was used as an admission to a club, I believe.

I just saw that episode and you're right! The card was a claim check for a locker or admission to the club (I can't remember which).
I'm surprised with two references to Tarot in this show - there have only been about 4 episodes or so and 2 of them had something to do with Tarot. And it's not even a supernatural themed show!

Wow, Great catch. I remember the one with the lady finding the body. I will have to keep my eye out in the upcoming shows. Thanks for the Heads up!

I love this show. Its one of the most intresting detective shows that I have seen in a looooong time. I love all the little quirks....

Quirks? I want to shoot that guy. All I can say is that I wouldn't be able to deal with him in person. ~shivers~

Violet -
I'm with you, Violet. I love the idea of an obsessive/compulsive detective and Tony Shalhoub is excellent at the physical comedy aspect of his character.
I also love how they've incorporated Tarot into two of the episodes.

I've known a couple of people like that. One whom I was friends with (flushed the toilet with his feet so as to not get germs on his hands). It took some time to get the hang of the rules, but I got the idea.
The other guy I disliked with every fiber of my being.
I give the writers of the show some credit for creativity, though. Wonder if they could swing a Monk/Dead Zone Crossover show.....or at least use the cards for a couple more episodes.....
