Ok I did it!!!

Yesterday I finaly decided that enough was enough I disliked people walking through my house to do readings to many negative people in the world. So I walked in to the local Salon / Day Spa and Told the woman who owns the place i wanted to read there. (It was great!! It was invigerating!! (bad speller) I explained to her that Vision Readings was up coming and moving fast with my own following as well as many new to come. And that it would be a good thing to let me rent space there her face looked kinda odd and I was unsure for a monment but then camly and with out breaking a sweat I said to her that I was going to be reading in a store befor Yule and she should think about it. I left there alittle unsure but still with an 8:30am appointment with her and this morning it Happened !!!! She agreed! I can't belive it My own space in town I already have 4 new cleints. Granted the room is small but its mine!!! can you belive it 12 yrs and now i'm ready. I go to decorate this week and start on schedual as of 9/16/2002 any advise?? any thing to add? Help!! I have all these emotions !!!

Congrats...You should check out Kiamas thread about her own tarot room....Incense to block out the hair coloring fumes? hmm or would that make it worse..?

Blackthorn: Good for you!! If you do not already, have business cards available. Based on what you plan to offer in services, you may also want to have flyers to hand out. See if the proprietor of the establishment you are using will permit you to post one, such as at the door &/or on its premises.

Excellent news, Blackthorn! Business cards are definately a must and you might consider making up a simple brochure- one page folded in half or thirds works great. Including your tarot ethics on the back page is a good idea. The cover could have your contact information and the middle decribing a little bit about what tarot is, what a tarot reader does, and a little blurb about yourself. (I've been helping one of my best friends get ready to go professional and I was reviewing his brochure for him on Monday so its fresh on my mind) Laurel
