impressive i was like WOW THEY INTERVIEWED RACHEAL POLLACK :o).
one thing though is i like to know about the next coming up interview so some of us can post some questions for you to ask .
i was really wanting to know what her next book would be like. what dreams she ha at this stagein her career.
what new deck if any does she have in her mind.
where does she see the tarot heading. ?
what did you as the interviewer think of her answer to the origin of the tarot question.
the queston, where you ask about the concept of how the tarot work. i heard they refered to as wisdom question..
i think for they speak on universal wisdom. much like the channeling on universal teachings i posted on since i been here on the forum.
in fact it give me an idea for a new thread. we ask a wisdom question every two weeks, and a brunch read on it. ( much like the sniper reading everyone did but on a universal standard. )
the forum individiuals will grow as a whole. the only requirement before posting would be to mediate on the meanings.. what they mean to you .. to get to the deeper meanings.
is any possibility of interviewing the morgon greer creator sure like to know why they themselves didnt' do a book.
or with the inner child creators.
get the dirt, sort to speak what was in your head ( why as the earthchild blue?)
any chance of a follow up interview with deeperquestions now we know each other (felt like i was there intervieing with you the part of about the german prejudice touched me:O)
and how come mary k greer didnt' do a tarot ? is she next in the line ?
good job moonlight :O)
edied to add reading paris inteview about the deal he made with the cosmos and sticking to it :O) touching .
that as one big answer he made there eh ?
it is nice to see thoth, and rider still playing such a part in today tarot making.

My goodness Holmes that's one heck of a post :)
Actually Rachel Pollack is now just finishing a book on the Kabalah, however it will be a German edition from what she tells me there is no immediate intention to publish it in english. The reason why it will be in german is because she has done the book in co-ordination with Hermann Haindl the creator of the Haindl deck.
She has no intentions of doing a new deck. Rachel seems satisfied with the Shining Tribe deck.
As for further interviews; well now that's all part of the surprise element now isn't it :) But I do intend to do interviews with a few more well known authors who I have already approached. I am in the midst now actually of researching for an interview and will get back to you all on that very soon.

i seen the review of forest of souls on tarot passages.
the reviewer wishes racheal pollack next book would be on the kabbalah, the jewish kabbalah as it were and not the christian, or the pagan.
go straight to the source and see how the luceria works with the tarot.
(i myself was wishing that as well)

Oh, Mystique,
Splendid interview.
It was so obvious that you just clicked with Rachael Pollock. I found myself wishing you had been talking in person 'stead of over the 'phone. (But then, you guys might still be talking.)
I think the question "What one card . . ." (Well, I like the whole interview.) I mean, one book, etc. etc. That's always tough. But, just ONE card? Stunning. And her response was predictably witty.
Just before reading your interview I'd wandered over to Tarot Passages to look up the "Spiral Tarot" 'cause Major Tom is "blatantly" campaigning for it, and found an announcement that a major Tarot conference is going to be held in the city where I live this weekend. Lotsa well known people, including Mary Greer and Rachael Pollock. I thought, wow, fun way to spend some time. Then I noticed, $75.00 at the door. Seventy-five bucks! Sigh.
Then I read your interview. Oh, man. Folks, I know most of you can't walk over Saturday and meet Pollock, but I urge you to read Mystique's interview.
