Welcome Domon, are you just starting out learning tarot? I have learned more by just reading the posts and asking questions. I also found that Thirteen's tarot basic threat is easy to follow and very informative. What deck/s do you have?

Yes i'm new to reading tarot. but do need some tips. after reading some posts I don't go by the book anymore. as for my deck I'm not sure. I bought it from barnes and noble. It's made by a company named running press.

The thing that helped me most when starting out with Tarot was to just practice, practice, practice, and do load of readings for yourself and any willing guinea pigs/friends... It doesn't matter if you need to use the book at first, but do try to say what you see in the cards BEFORE looking at the book's meanings. Kiama

Here are some questions of my own for you to help you put thoughts into words. You don't have to answer any or all of them, of course. How long have you had your tarot deck? Have you been practicing doing readings on yourself or other people? What was the best reading you ever did? What was the worst? What's your favorite card and why? Are there any specific cards that are hard to read or you dread seeing coming up in a reading? Laurel
