Drew 2 cards for the day this morning. I got the page of coins and the death card. Not sure how they relate but i have had a bad day. Shouted at my kids, had a big row with my partner etc. Took comfort in the fact that i could cheer myself up with my tarot cards tonite and what happens? I drop my 2 daily cards down the back of the heater! I have tried for the last hour and 1/2 with a long stick to get them out and could only retrieve one, i am presuming now that the deck isn't fit to use anymore( my one and only deck)
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHH

hi,
I think everybody knows how you feel!! we all have our down days!! This might sound sick, but take some chewing gum and chew it, the put it on the end of the stick, it usually helps. Also, my German teacher has a "sign" that he is having a bad day: he wears his glasses (he almost always wears contacts). So, you might want to like wear a certain shirt or something when you are having a bad day, so that everyone knows to treat you with more respect than usual.
Hope you have a better day tomorrow!!

Or if the gum doesn't work maybe a wad of duct tape on a stick?
Sorry to hear you are having one of those days . . .

good suggestions with the gum and tape! Sorry you're having a crappy day. If it helps... I yell at my kids and hubby every day! LOL It's the only thing they listen to, I ask nicely and nothing happens. })
Question: Why 2 cards? Do you have anything in particular each card represents in this daily draw? I've heard of one or three or more... but not specifically 2.
Anyway, I suggest calming down and "ohm-ing" for a sec. Take a few deep breaths and just relax. You'll be fine. Once you calm down things may fall into perspective a little. Then if you feel it's necessary you can go apologize to everyone. Maybe you just need to address a few things with them. Maybe it's time for a change (Death card)?

Thanx for the words of support everyone. I don't know really why i have been picking 2 cards rhiannon, i did just pick one b4 but found it more interesting with 2. 2 just seems to provide more info and i like to see how they relate to each other. I am quite new so i don't know what i'm doing 1/2 the time.
I had thought that now i would buy a new deck but my hubby has just taken the heater off the wall and got it for me. Anything to save a few quid haha
Why do you all have numerous decks (is that a silly question?) I just thought you could get all the info you need from one deck.

You can, it's just not as fun. ;) A bunch of us simply enjoy collecting tarot decks. It's always nice to see the different artists' perspectives on all the cards. Also, I think part of it is the continual search for the "perfect" deck. Of course, there are those who are perfectly happy with just one or two decks. Unfortunately for my pocketbook, I'm not one of them.

Hi Linda! Glad to hear your card was rescued. And about not knowing what you're doing half the time... well, you're about a 1/4 of the time up on me, and I've been reading for a few years! LOL If you get more meaningful info. from 2 cards I think that's great! I don't even pull daily cards anymore (shame on me), right now I'm pulling daily runes.
Have to agree with Keslynn, you CAN get all the info. you need from just one deck. But I can't help myself! It's a compulsion. I must have more decks, prettier decks, more readable decks, more interesting decks.... *sigh*

I can't pass up a question on multiple decks *LOL* ... yes YOU CAN get all the info from deck as said before but there are various reasons why many of us collect decks. Some of the reasons include: artwork, rareness of deck (OOP decks, etc), theme, the way we use tarot (pathworking, storytelling, meditation, reading, etc.), there is something unique about the deck that sets it apart from others, etc.
I own close to 100 decks now ... do I use them all? no. But I use certain decks for reading, others for pathworking, others for meditation. They are also great in follwing books when the cards are illustrated in black & white and compared to cards in other decks ... I can just go get the real thing to see the details.
For me buying decks is almost a compulsion *LOL*. Expensive, but fun. Just remember, the only opinion that counts in regards to how many tarot decks it is appropriate for you is your own. By the way, glad your card was saved! see the day is getting better already! :)
