You can now read my interview with Robin Wood. It is up in the Text area of the site..http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/articles/interview_rwood.html
It's quite interesting. We discussed Wicca, Scott Cunningham, that Tarot Spell Book by Janina Rene and of cause her cards.
Enjoy everyone. :)

wow!
thanks mystique...
I've been fortunate enough to meet and converse with Robin Wood at conventions in the past. She is an amazing lady and one of my idols as a tarot artist.
Great interview, I got the same sense from your article of who she is as I did from talking to her myself, and more. It was a pleasure to read, thanks for sharing!

And that was really a great interview. She seems very together and very down to earth.

great interview, M!
robin IS "so cool," ain't she?!? very VERY "approchable..."
now: let us Not Take that for Granted, no . . . AND "remember that," too, in Our Very Own LIVES ... "remain approachable ... and Teachable!"
Stay Green!

I've never really liked the Robin Wood up until now, but after reading this interview and reading about Robin Wood's view on things, I'm getting interested... ;)
So thanks for sharing (and no thanks for getting me interested in yet another deck... ;) ).

Robin Wood is amazing. She's got fibromyalgia & has it bad, some days she's in a wheelchair. She still goes to events though. Her art style took a shift years ago when she couldn't hold a brush anymore & all her art is now done via computer with a mouse. It took a while to learn how to do it (you'll appreciate the frustration she felt, she was a wonderful illustrator & was doing it for a living for years).
She lives what she talks, she's solidly Wiccan. Even wrote an ethics book on being pagan.

Great interview! How did you manage to interview her? Now if you could only arrange an interview with Nathalie Hertz...
:D

Like Tarotlady, I have never been attached to the Robin Wood deck. But now I think I will take a closer look. Thanks for sharing the interview, I really enjoyed it!
Being a newbie here, I am curious how you had the opportunity for the interview?
