tarot Box

I have my Tarot Cards in a box. The Latch in the back of the box came unscrewed. Should i buy a new Box?

If the latch isn't broken, I suggest you simply fix it by re-screwing it, even if you need help. If the latch is broken, why not replace it instead of the whole box? - some of us seem to live in such a 'throw-away' society (myself included!).

I agree with jmd, try and fix it before you rush out and buy a new box. Unless of course you`re really hankering after a new box, in which case, buy one. crystalmynx xx

there is no reason that a box has to have a working or any other kind of latch anyway. unless you carry it around and are worried that the cards may fall out... in that case a rubber band might do the trick. some store their cards in the original cardboard box, some in other boxes. many here, use bags of all kinds. i'm a purist, have to keep mine in natural materials. but that is a personal choice. other fantastic readers have no problems with synthetics. relax! ;)

If you and your cards are really attached to the box then there is no reason you should get rid of it. You just need to be careful if you are transporting your cards anywhere. And as others have said, see if the box can be fixed. But if your intuition tells you to get a new one then I'd say go with that. I use a peice of black satin, that I am doing some embroidry on. It is a work in progress, and will take some time to finsih. I like to see it as a reflection of my spiritual progress. Blessings! LeaRAy

If the box is beyond repaire, then I think you should get a knew one. But if it's still usable and fixable, the there is no point. A box is a box, nothing more, nothing less. It's only purpose, imo, is as a decoration, or as storage. If you really want to get a knew one, then go ahead and buy one, but don't throw away your old one if it's still useful.
