Out of fun and curiosity, :D Do people of certain horoscope sign are more into Tarot than others?or is it based on individual spiritual growth,regardless of what sign you are born into? I was thinking ,maybe we could do a survey in this thread,by saying what is your sun sign and/or rising sign. It's me again----if 'ascendant refers to what's rising, then mine is Saggitarius rising, but then it also says "Sun conjunct ascendant", whatever that might mean. Can anyone tell me? I'm amazed how accurate this reading from astro.net is----I should learn more about astrology, I think.

Looks like I'm the first (and possibly the only) Leo with Virgo rising. Which is weird cause I'm always in the center of the leo "month" no matter which calendar you look at, and I feel nothing like a "typical" leo. Also, it makes since of why I get along with my boyfriend/fiance'. He's a Leo/Virgo cuspus always, with every calandar. Just in case anyone's curious, he wants nothing to do with tarot.

Glad you asked. Well, it's kinda funny. Pisces Moon is extremely sensitive, and yet Leo sun can get really self-absorded and ride roughshod over people's feelings. I can say both are true for me, and can probably illustrate it best by telling a story from this Monday. I belong to a religion known as the Baha'i Faith, maybe you have or haven't heard of it. While I love my Faith and do see it as Divine, people are human and when religious people get together they're still human. That's perfectly okay, but in religious settings people try to hard to be religious so much that sometimes, they forget to show that they're human too. Anyways in the Baha'i Faith our regularly scheduled worshipped services are called Feasts, and they occur ever 19 days. This Monday was one. And with me being part of the community of San Diego, this was the first meeting of the San Diego Baha'is since the fires (I'm sure you probably heard on the wildfires in the news). I had called many fellow Baha'is the days of the fires to see how folks were doin', but in a community of about 600 Baha'is, I can't say I know everybody, so I was waiting to hear if everybody was alright, and if not what could be done. Earlier that day I had had my first day back to classes at Cal State San Marcos, and that was the first topic every teacher discussed: Is everyone okay? So I go in to Feast thinking I'll be hearing reports on the status of community members. NOPE! Throughout the whole 45-60 minute of the devotional and adminstrative portions of Feast, I don't hear a damn thing. Needless to say, I am unable to give more than scattered concentration to the devotions, as I feel something is really sad if we are just conducting business as usual on that night. I felt lots of folks scared to talk about the rhinoceros in the corner. Pisces Moon is full effect. Well, when the consultative portion of Feast began, Leo Sun jumps to the forefront. I stood up when issued were called to be brought up, about how sad it was that no mention was made, and that our community producings were a damn joke if nodoby said anything and acted like business as usual. I didn't really care, if I was nice about it. I was trying to shake people out of what seemed to be major numbness. I wonder if I'm extremely sensitive, or am just the only one who admits it. I got some dirty looks as well as some bravos. It wasn't the first time I've spoken about what others didn't want to bring up. As for Gemini ascendant, I can sure make clever arguments when giving a speech, but he tells his fellow air Libra to take a hike, and doesn't go for the diplomatic veneer. Gemini ascendant is strong enough that most who first meet me notice my intellect, but those who know me know that it's my pasions (Leo) and sensitivities (Pisces) that are what drive me and what I really hold dear! So, no, I can't exactly say I'm easy going. It is true that I'm easy to live with, as order and neatness don't have much priority for me, but I'm caring enough to not let things get nasty for other's sake.
