I've been doing daily draws and recording them in a journal since February of this year. The other day my husband put them all into a database so I could see what I've drawn so far this year. Here was the results:
Card Most Drawn-Ace of Cups
2nd Most Drawn-Page of Wands
Card Never Drawn-5 of Cups
Suits in order of Most Drawn:
Pentacles-25.62%
Cups-23.13%
Wands-17.79%
Majors-16.73%
Swords-16.73%
I think it is a good reflection to look back and see and learn from which cards/suits seemed most influential to me so far this year. Does anyone else track their daily cards?

Hmmm... interesting idea. Never thought about doing this. Were your daily draws single-card draws then (as opposed to, say a daily 3-card spread)? What did you gather from this information?

I've just been drawing one single card a day and journaling it. I really enjoy having the database to refer to now. What I've gathered so far is that new opportunites in the area of spiritual development have been very prominent this year along with news and messages of new creative opportunites. In 2002 is when I really started studying the cards intensely and also the first time I went back out in the workforce in over 13 years. I have been a stay at home mom all the time and my youngest daughter just started kindergarten. I am now facing opportunities to go back to college to finish my credits so that I can be a certified education technician 2. That sums up the ace of cups and page of wands being pulled so many times. As far as pentacles being the suit that has been chosen the most I take that as my serious practical side coming in place. The other suits are pretty balanced though so I feel overall I'm fairly balanced. I was surprised to see that I've never pulled the 5 of cups yet for a daily draw (not that I'm complaining...lol).

I also keep track of my daily personal 3-card spreads on a spreadsheet. Here's my statistics for 2002 thus far:
Card Most Drawn (9 times): Sun
2nd Most Drawn (8 times): Empress, Hierophant, Hermit, Moon, 2 of Cups, 5 of Cups
Cards Never Drawn: Star, Judgement, Page of Wands, 2 of Swords,
Suits in order of Most Drawn:
Majors: 31.1 %
Cups: 19.2 %
Disks: 18.3 %
Swords: 16.3 %
Wands: 15.1 %
In reviewing this, it does somewhat reflect the personal/family challenges I have faced this year, with the abundance of Cups. However, whenever it looks like life may be "difficult", I am uplifted by the frequent appearance of The Sun!
Here comes the Sun, and it's all right!

do you guys just do the db on a normal spreadsheet?? what kinda columns do you have, cause I want to start one of my own. keeping records for that and then writing down the relevance would be interesting. how do you figure out the percentages?? **violinlily wishing she were not so computer illiterate**
oh, and btw, are you using the same deck everyday? or are you using (just as an example) the spiral one day, and RWS the next?? the deck might influence the outcome.
thanks guys!!:)
edited to add: it might b interesting if a group of Aeclectians would do this "card-tracking" and then put the cumulative scores together, to see which cards were drawn the most and so on. Just wondering.

I try to use a different deck each day so that way I get to become better acquainted with all my decks. If I use a non-traditional deck that has more than 78 cards I don't use the extras for the daily draws. Alot of decks rename the 78 cards and even though Death might be called Transition from another deck I still count it towards Death.
