I would advice you to check out eBay's (www.ebay.com)enormous range of boxes. That's where I got mine, a beautiful and mysterious one from the Victorian era. Me like it a lot. :o)

Hi Baron,
there are actually many other posts on the subject of boxes and storage for decks on Aeclectic which can be found with a 'search'.

Oooh, aaaah! They are so pretty! I never thought I'd want a tarot box for my cards (I make my own bags) but now I might change my mind! After all, I could put the box in the bag, right?? The boxes specifically for tarot decks are so cool.......

OK, it's not a website, but for anyone who is in the area there are a couple of stalls at St.Albans (Hertfordshire, England) market that sells all sizes of wooden boxes, plus Isis the occult shop (by the Fleur-de-Lys pub at the bottom end of the market)

I'm not too sure myself, but I think it's around 2.5 cm. The exact mesure might be 2.54 cm.

rostie... I'm a firm believer in the idea that there is no such thing as a stupid question, except those that go unasked. :D Anyway... 1 inch = 2.538 cm. Or, another way of looking at it... divide the inches by 0.394 to get centimeters. So, if you take a 5 inch by 7 inch box... 5/.394 = 12.690, and 7/.394=17.767... so it would be a 12.7 X 17.8 cm box.
Hope this helps...
