Hi Everyone
I have been painting tarot boxes for quite a while and last night my significant other built me a page to showcase them and I am so happy! I think he did a super job on it :)

Cute. I like the dreamy backgrounds, but I think the High Priestess needs to be brushed up a little. The Fool is nice.

Hi
I was wondering what it was that you didn't like about the HP box? Was the fuzzyness of the photo what you didn't like? Unfortunatly some of my earlier pieces we just took snapshots of them and I didn't get as nice of a picture as olthers. Also the irredescent and metalic paints that I use sometimes make taking good photos hard, since they have a tendency to reflect so much of the light. The boxes are much sharper and more detailed in person. :)
Well the high priestess box is sold to a person who loves it, so I guess that is all that matters. :) I was just so happy that the page my boyfriend made me looked so super that I though I would show it off :)

Don't mind me. My super-pickiness is probably well-known by now. I'm an artist myself. From a technical standpoint, I didn't like the HP as much as the others because of the lack of toning and shading, for example in the draping of her robe, the bottom of the black pillar is a little out of perspective compared to the white, and the lines of the background look a little uneven.
But to each his own; if you have a boyfriend and buyers that love your work, that's all you should be concerned with ;) My favourite is actually the girl with the pumpkin.

You should also look at doing your own tarot deck too, your work is very beautiful!! I just love those colours!
