The recent absensce of JMD and Diana from the boards is very evident to me. I know how easily it is to become dependent on those guys, to pick up certain loose ends in discussions and keep things moving along. I know both are off busy with other matters now, but it will be nice when they are back on, full-steam, too.

Ophiel: you make me blush. And you warm my heart. It needs warming right now. :(
I'm focusing on my exam which is in February and at the same time trying to move a mountain ("if you have faith as small as a mustard seed.......", is what I keep on telling myself). I can't wait to get back to you guys 'cos I miss you all lots!
Ophiel, can I give you a kiss? :*

Um...well...only if Igor [my cat] isn't looking. He's laying on a bookcase right behind me right now, probably reading everything I'm typing on screen.
I am concerned, though, that it might tarnish my HERMIT image.

JMD and Diana, you better not disappear! I make referrals to you guys and love reading your posts ... and if I ever decide to explore a Marseilles style deck I will not succeed without you!

Most definately adding to the sentiments. When I grow up, I want to be as wise and discerning as JMD and Diana.

Yeah, who else could I "annoy" with random speculation about the Kaballah and (shortly!) an anticipated host of Marseille related questions? })

I think I'll need to show this thread to people who know me outside of cyberspace... but then again, they'll probably never believe that this 'jmd' and I are the same person!
Thanks everyone - but really, such compliments only make posts more difficult to post ... and let's face it, if some comments appear wise, it may be because we are in agreement!
What I really value here are not so much the opportunity it gives me to read others' journeys' and the struggle to express myself succintly, but the wonderful learning and insights such provides in such a rich community...
And just so as to make this a Tarot thread - it is through this wonderful implement that we are seemingly being brought together - irrespective of the differences of our ages, education, religious views, political preferences and geographical locations!
(thanks again Solandia :))

Don't bother JMD...they'll think you forged it, since Internet documents can so easily be altered. Perhaps documents from each of us, notorized, would be more feasible.

That's so true
I'm sure if someone wanted to promote their deck/website etc.
They would have their friends making comments, which is fine but how many of those are alias?
I know that this forum has well over 2,000 members but how many of them have gone, dormant those who have left and come back under another name, and have alias? It would be could you know the real figures.
Can we do this some how?
So don't be shocked if you find out that I'm a known Tarot Publisher :D

I re-edited it, and now carry a dozen roses, a box of Godiva chocolates, and a deck published by US Games Systems Inc around with me at all times!

I dunno, there's something about the phrase "a known xxxx"
Maybe you should say "a well known" (celebrated!) :D
