For anyone seriously interested in a matriarchal tarot deck, my friend Flash Silvermoon is having a monthly contest on her site to give away a copy of her deck and book,
The Wise Woman's Tarot
The site is at http://www.flashsilvermoon.com
(oh right now the contest is only for US residents but that may change)
Good luck and Blessings, -aV-

Wow! Thanks for the link. I'm surprised I've never even seen or heard of this deck b-fore. I think I may just be ordering it!

Hmmm, I tried to purchase the item but her shopping cart thing doesn't seem to work? So I've E mailed her to see if I can order.

Did you have any luck trying to order again? That problem should definitely be fixed by now.

By the way, the monthly contest for the Wise Woman's Tarot resumed in November.
There are still a few days left this month and then there will be another one starting for December.

The deck is an interesting & colourful representation of cross-cultural influences with emphasis on the matriarchal or goddess aspect.
The associations of its Major Arcana is non-traditional & its size is larger. The elemental correspondences are the same; that is, Wands is Fire & Swords is Air.
Instead of the LWB, it has 2 cards containing descriptions of the card meanings--making it more convenient to see at a glance.
Other than for reading purposes, it is worth a consideration for the Tarot deck collectors. I think the deck is self-published, but someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks,
I tried to enter last month and I could not find the form... they must have corrected that because this month it was right on the main page.
