www.ebay.com if you are lucky
www.half.com finding tarot stuff there is sometimes tricky, you may need to visit amazon and find isbn numbers for what you are looking for then search by isbn
www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com sometimes have good deal in the marketplace
and the trading boards right here, deals galore there :)

There's a site that compares prices across more than 10 different bookstores on the web. You can find it here:
http://www.allbookstores.com
It sometimes lists sources outside of the U.S., which is nice to see. I've seen Canadian sites on there quite a lot, including Chapters.
For Example, I just did a search for the Tarot of the Journey to the Orient, hit the "Compare Prices" button, and found that a store called DoubleDiscount in California has it for less than $17.00...with shipping! that beats Amazon by nearly $7.00!
It's also great site to visit when you are looking for an out-of-print book or deck, as it shows whether a site has the item 'in-stock' or not.
(Hmmm...the Tarot-Gollum in me is rearing its ugly head. Maybe I shouldn't tell everyone about my deck shopping secrets...oh, well. I'll tell them about Allbookstores.com, preciousss, but I won't say a word about www.tomfolio.com and the hundreds of used bookstores they catalogue on their site! D'oh!)
Peace,
Melvis

I'm going to check some of these out. It's hard to find a good deal at ebay cos you can generally get it cheaper elsewhere, including shipping! I let go a recent auction cos I found the deck at ecampus.com for $17 total. It sold on ebay for over $20, plus the buyer pays shipping!!!!

Do Barnes and Noble ship to the UK?
Probably a silly question...

I myself, have always preferred to do business through and with my friends. I shop at the corner market rather than the mega-corporate chain to keep the money in the neighborhood.
I do business with my friends, because what comes around goes around.
So I like to do business with Amazon.com, linking through this web-site, I also really like doing business with Tarot Garden (I phone them – because they are lovely to talk to).
Purchasing in those manners help support this forum, which has to acquire funds in some manner.
(Ebay is a matter of skill, not luck (Buyer beware)).

I think we all try to buy what helps the forum the best..but when it comes to a 10 dollar difference it is HUGE difference on can I afford something or do I need to wait longer to come up with the extra money when I know I can get it cheaper...My local metaphysical store..i would love to support them..but they cost publishers list price..Way to much for me...Most of my decks come from trading with people which is A LOT more fun!

WHEW! Speaking of bargins...I just bought the Legend tarot with companion book for $18.99 (SRP 34.99), and the Authariun (sp?) tarot with companion book for $5.49 (SRP $33.00)!!!!! Both are listed as very good condition. We will see but hey, I bought them off half.com and totally recommend looking there first. They have a lot of tarot decks there, and if you wait long enough...you get an awesome deal! I also bought my Witches Tarot with companion book from half.com for $16.

Try http://www.playingcardsales.co.uk/index.htm. This is the site for R. Somerville of Scotland. I have often had good luck finding decks that I was mooning over on Trigono and/or Alida, for much lower prices. It's worth checking out! And the shipping won't cripple you financially; although it takes longer to get your order, at least you're given a choice.

If anyone is near Livonia, Michigan. (There is a site but that one is for New Jersey)
Next to Wal-Mart is a Bargain book place. When I went there. They had a bunch of wicca, tarot and tons of other books.
The tarot books ran from $5-8 dollars a piece. Forest of the souls, tarot dictionary etc. So if you can find one near you.!!
