Golden Dawn Titles of Cards?

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone knows where to find a listing of the Golden Dawn titles of cards? ie: 3 of pentacles is called "Lord of the Material Works" and so forth. The Hermetic Tarot by Godfrey Dowson has these titles printed on the cards but alas I do not have the deck and even though the whole deck is scanned (seen here scroll all the way down and to the right Blue Cats Den), I cannot read the titles as my eyes are not all that great and only see fuzzy words when I see those scans. If anyone knows it would greatly satisfy my curious itch! Thank you for reading! :)

i think the titles of the thoth deck follow this golden dawn namings. works like this if i am correct: 2 wands card title is dominion for instance, then you call it lord of dominion, etc. ~kaz

Wow Lee! Thanks so much for your help! :) I was poring through Golden Dawn websites but they are so mysterious and vague that I couldn't find a listing. I'll finish off the majors that I know of! Star: The Daughter of the Firmament: the Dweller Between the Waters. Tower: The Lord of the Hosts of the Mighty. Devil: The Lord of the Gates of Matter; the Child of the Forces of Time. Temperance - Daughter of the Reconcilers, the Bringer Forth of Life Death - The Child of the Great Transfomers; the Lord of the Gate of Death Justice- Daughter of the Lords of Truth; the Ruler of Balance Wheel of Fortune - Lord of the Forces of Life Hermit- The Prophet of the Eternal, the Magus of the Voice of Power The Chariot - The Child of the Powers of the Waters; the Lord of the Triumph of Light The Lovers - The Children of the Voice; The Oracle of Mighty Gods The Hierophant - Magus of the Eternal The Emperor - Sun of the Morning, Chief Among the Mighty The High Priestess - The Princess of the Silver Star The Foolish Man - The Spirit of Aether ---------- PS: I have never done any research, but I've always speculated that there's a very strong Masonic influence upon these esoteric titles. ~LAS

Ahhh Thank you so much Laurel! :) You cleared up my questions and uncertainty of the majors. Those titles make more sense than the ones I had eyeballed. Those titles help give me a little more insight to the cards and their meanings. The Order of Golden Dawn is pretty mysterious... hehe Thanks again Laurel :)
