What do you think? personally i think more is better...Many people who are unsure get an idea of what they can ask..and what will happen and pricing on how it works for more or less cards....What DO YOU THINK?

Er, I really don't understand your post...maybe you could rephrase it?

i think Thrysses site TarotMoon
http://www.tarotmoon.com/
is excellent when it comes to spreads and questions.
esp if you look at her FAQ on what kind of questions one can ask. i think about 5-8 spread would be enough though. too much may confuse the client (like a kid in a candy store...)
it is also a questions of what spreads you feel the most comfortable with. perhaps you can try and steer the client towards choosing tailor-made spreads if that is your speciality.

Sorry Demonesse....I meant Rhiannon and I are making a tarot website and the question is..more spreads or less? we want to show variety without overwhelming the client..and keep it in a 5-10 card range...We were wondering what everybody else thought?

One thing I don't understand: are you refering to the number (i.e. variety) of spreads, or to the number of cards within a spread?

I've seen some sites with upwards of 30 spreads, those get a bit overwhelming. 20 is probably enough, but group them together (such as relationship spreads, job spreads, general readings, etc.). That makes it so much easier to find the one you need.
