hey all,
I was after some accurate information on the meanings of the mnumbers on the cards... eg number 1 = new beginnings.
I have so many conflicting opinions on these meanings, I always thought number 4 was a good number for reaching goals, but I have discussed it lately and I am told number 4 is not lucky at all. Please can someone help me here, it is getting very frustrating.
Thanks You all Dark Eyes.

With the 4's it's half and half. 4 of Wands is joyous celebrations, 4 of Swords is rest & peace, 4 of Cups is discontent & 4 of Pentacles is miserly (I'm being very basic here).
BUT--the depressing cards all have a ray of hope, and the upswing cards can have cautions, so there is always something to balance out.

Understand the numbers first, then add in the influence of the suits.
Fours are wonderful, they may represent a pause, a foundation upon which future actions can and will be built…
Here is some wonderful information…

I've always understood four to be a "good" number as well. The four elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water), a square, a solid foundation, etc. But my Chinese boyfriend says it is a very unlucky number to Chinese people. So I guess it all depends on which system you want to follow and maybe how you personally feel about numbers. Number talk to me, but I'm weird. (Five and Seven don't get along. ;))
