Okay, y'all I have a school project to demonstrate a skill that other people could easily learn...guess what I'm doing!!!
Thought I'd share...this has got to be the greatest school project ever!

Wish I could've done such cool things in school... No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get Tarot into any of my projects! :(
Ah well... Enjoy your project, and let us know how it goes! Are you actually gonna show how to do a reading to all the people in your class?

I don't think they're going to learn that easily, unless you give them the LWB and tell them to use those meanings! It sounds like an awesome project though, and even if they don't get it, they will still enjoy it. Good luck! JLB

You're teaching them tarot in Mississippi?
Don't they burn people for that down there?
Only foolin'
Have fun and good luck with your grade!

Well, Woof, it's definitely possible, and by-the-way, the media really DOESN'T really overly portray the South negatively in that aspect, the Bible Belt thing really is THAT bad! ;)
Actually, Kiama, there are only eight other people in my class which is so great!
The think about it, jlbvt, it that they don't have to do what I show them, just get a VERY basic understanding.
I'll be sure to fill y'all in after tommorrow! :D

*freezes up at the thought of doing a reading in front of a whole class*
Good luck, my best wishes are with you, because I could never summon up the courage to do that myself. I would advise you to be careful, however... how openminded are the students at your school?

Well folks, my project went great. I made a 96 (for talking too quietly). I did a reading on a girl in the class during the actual presentation, which she and one of her friends thought applied to her boyfriend who died in a car accident last year. (I really felt bad about that, but she was okay). There were skeptics of course, about half the class, actually, but I convinced three of nine people that the tarot is a very real tool. Everyone was polite about being skeptical (even though I may find myself labeled as a witch or a freak in the near future, I haven't consulted the cards on that one! ) Overall it was a great success, I would say! Thanks for your support, otherwise I would never have found the courage!

Glad your demonstration went well - you had the bravery to actually do it when you knew some may not have been accepting of it, and good for you!
