I'd like to conduct a survey on the people of Aeclectic. - Gender? - Age? - How long have you been reading/learning tarot? - How many decks do you own? - Which country do you live in? - How often do you visit the aeclectic site? I'll have the survey run for 2 or 3 weeks, then I'll sum it all up & post my answer! Please feel free to PM me your reply, if you wish to stay annonymous :) Curiousity killed the cat but information made him fat. lol Thanks!

cheekyminx, sorry to spoil your fun maybe, but can you tell me why you post this in studyforum general? as far as i see, its a topic that should go in chat (subscriber only) ............. btw, for doing polls like these, if you are a subscriber, you can make them with checkboxes and/or radiobuttons. ~kaz

I think this is a great idea, and to get the ball rolling i'll throw in hy answers to your questions, I am pretty sure that this is not the ideal format for data collection but I believe it is likely the best without going to the subscriber threads... (which i would like to join as soon as I can afford it... ie 0 income = no spare cash to spend on forums unfortunately) 1)Male 2)21 3)in the range of 3 months to my entire life 4)1 deck (ancient egyptian) 5)Around Toronto, Ontario 6)I would say at least once a day on average... and that is the minimum :D:D:D

I visit the site at least once a day.............. Hudson Gray - I make it down to Milwaukee about 3-4 times a year - visiting family. 15 people so far have answered questions *smiles* I know theres alot more out there......where are you all? I honestly can't conduct a survey on 15 people ;) And I guess its only fair I answer the survey too; I'm a girl 26 On & off, 5 or 7 years 4 decks (5th one got burnt.lol) I live in Wollongong, NSW, Australia Pretty much daily :)

Minx When I first looked at this thread I thought "oh not from me." Now it's been up a bit and I realized reading through this thread that it must be the secretive maleness in me }) - Male - 52 - 33 years - I'm down to ~ 40 (more if you count the duplicates) - In the Northeast (I'd rather remain somewhat un-locate-able :THERM) - 2-3 (probably because of it's newness to me. I'll slow down in awhile and not be such a pest :D)

Female, 32. Started with Tarot about 15 years ago (or so), but *serious* study for the past 3 years. Decks, in the order of their appearance : Universal Waite (quasi-retired Primary), Legend Arthurian Tarot (Personal), Faery Oracle, Shapeshifter (new Primary), Lord of the Rings, and Hanson-Roberts (also a new Primary). USA I visit AecTar usually one long session in the midday, but sometimes at night too, so 1-2 times daily.

i am female. i am 35 years young. i have been studying tarot for 3 years, 4 months. once upon a time, i had amassed over 150 tarots. i moved recently and got rid of a lot of stuff, including some hundred or so decks and as many tarot books. i now have about 40 tarot decks. i live in arizona. i log on to aeclectic about once a week, from work.
