I have a problem.

No matter how long i've been gone (3 months) i'm still a newbie. When I logged into this forum I read a WHOLE LOT about Decks energies people can feel. But i can't feel anything from either of my decks (I have 2). am I doing something wrong,or are the decks wrong?

I would not worry about this. Those that 'feel' the energy in a deck are those that are most likely psyhometric. (a talent we all posses, but in some it is more developed) If you have good readings with your deck and you work well with it, just keep doing what your doing.

Well, Yami, I must say that I don't have a sense that I feel anything in the way that people seem to get energies from the decks, but I know I feel excitement at shuffling, laying out spreads, finding meanings, connections, stories in the cards. This is a wonderful buzz, but it is in me, not the cards. I would say to enjoy the cards, and don't worry about "problems." Everyone comes to the tarot in his or her own way. Find your way. Do that by relaxing, having fun, being excited!

Some feel power and magic with a deck. Some feel 78 pieces of stiff paper with ink. Both are correct. Each of us has a different path, way…a different view. You must find your path, and view. Sometimes the path begins as one thing and becomes something different altogether…unexpected. But if you do not seek your path – nothing will ever occur.

Umbrae speaks wisdom (he's becoming quite the Zen Master of the forum)--but you might also consider that you just haven't found your deck yet. I've several decks--ALL are functional--that is I can use them all. But not all "resonate" with me, or seem filled with energy. Interestingly, sometimes the ones that DO have energy for me aren't even my favorites. Don't give up--you may pick up a deck one day and find it full of energy, likely when you least expect it.
