Has anyone signed up for either of the two courses being taught this year at the Omega Institute (upstate NY) by Rachel Pollack and Mary Greer? There's a weekend course the weekend of July 11th. I've actually talked my wife into coming with me. She's taking a different course. The focus of the seminar/workshop is Relationships. I'm quite excited by the prospect of going and meeting these two women, and of course, learning from them first-hand. I've got info for anyone who is interested.

Hi Lawguy,
I had heard of this too. It would be a bit of a drive for me, but I am close enough to Rhinebeck that I could get away with not renting a room, but still their weekend seminars are a little too expensive for me. I am also not in a relationship right now so I don't know if I would qualify. Perhaps in the future I will be able to indulge in these kinds of things.
I can't wait to hear from you about how it goes Lawguy. It sounds to be very interesting. I can't wait to hear of your thoughts on the class and these two women that have impressed me with their writing.

Hi Mimers: Yes it is a bit pricey but I'm counting it as a holiday! I don't believe this course is about couples, it's about relationships, relationships with your cards, with others in your life with the querent, etc.. Here's a short blurb from the website:
What attracts us to a particular person? What attracts us to a particular tarot deck? What is the relationship among cards in a reading? What is the relationship between cards from different decks?
Join tarot experts and longtime Omega faculty members Mary Greer and Rachel Pollack for this experiential workshop in which we explore our personal relationship and connection with the tarot and what the cards can reveal to us about our relationships in the world. A great introduction to the tarot, and a wonderful way to hone your skills, this workshop focuses on card interpretations and basic card-reading skills. To "relate" also means to "tell" or "narrate," and we spend time considering what happens between reader and client as we "tell the story" of a tarot reading. We also learn spreads that help us discover meaning in our human relationships and our own purpose in using the cards.
So you see, it's a workshop for anybody and everybody.
