For those of you who are able to see the King of the Hill tv show tonight.....

Bobby gets a set of tarot cards and befriends youngsters who practice black magic.

Instant Review:
Well, that was a nasty piece of work.
First we learn that the 10 of Swords means great things are in store for you, unless it is reversed. Also, you will never be able to successfully foretell the future without a Mantegna deck ! (I have one, so I guess I'm covered.)
But the main point was that tarotists/pagans/witches, whatever -are really pathetic nerd-loser guys with phoney powers & slutty mothers. And they stand around on on pentagrams, aka baseball diamonds, trying to make little boys drink dog blood.
PS- we will all be cured of our delusions if we just assemble auto parts.
Strangely, at the end Bobby & his dad drive off with John Redcorn, the Native American " New Age Healer". I guess his spiritual traditions get some respect.
On the positive side, in the preceeding episode, I learned a nifty term for my sister's house. "Cracker-shack."

Ditto on that opinion.
No accurate portrayal of pagans or tarot reading on the episode at all. Nerds goofing around with what they think is coolness & coming across as totally pathetic...yes, that came through really clear.
Wasn't worth watching actually. Malcolm in the Middle was better (though not their best effort either).

It's too bad that something so important to so many people should be portrayed so poorly on national TV. Dissappointing, but somewhat expected.
Did you guys ever notice that Paula Abdul on American Idol seems to be wearing a pentacle pendant? At least she was the last time I saw the show, maybe a month ago.
