ok, so i've decided that i'm gonna try and keep them all together in one thread, rather than innundate the board w/them...if you don't know what the hell i'm talking about, go here and you'll see i wanted to write poems for each of the 78 cards...heh...
i'm keeping them all in my tarot journal for now, but plan to make something big out of it once i have the poetry section of my website built (which will take some time, giving ME plenty of time to write all 78 poems (or more depending on how many decks i use))...anyway, here's the latest...enjoy! :)
Two of Swords ~ Rider-Waite deck
Seated, I am waiting...
Upon his return I shall decide
Do I hate him or do I love him
Only time will thus decide...
How will I know, how can i see?
Who will tell me he is here?
It's so dark and feels so lonely
I guess this is my cross to bear
If only I could truly witness
If only I could open my eyes
But my hands are full now
My mind is occupied...
Which way do I choose...
How will I know what's right?
I'm so torn and confused...
If only I could open my eyes...
The time has come to make a choice
I must lower my defenses...
Open up my heart and mind...
I will only move forward
.....................if i open my eyes...

Beautiful! And, yes, it made sense to me! I just did a reading for a woman in which it came out that her marriage was under a lot of tension which was partly exacerbated by the fact that she was still holding the back door open, so to speak. Seems she wasn't feeling that she was getting enough acknowledgment within her marriage and part of her was considering having an affair with (gotta laugh) the Knight of Cups. Anyways- hanging over her head was the 2 of Swords!

have you recieved the yet?
Fey Deck~
Come and visit the world of the carefree Fey.
Full of energetic beings calling for you to play.
Follow the Fey with ears and eyes aware,
for the Fey have much they want to share.
Thier swords point to what is right.
They say, 'act accordingly in a fight'.
Wands shine a light on what can grow,
giving nurishment to all who want to know.
A sip from the Fey's chalice of wine potion,
fills you up with stirring emotion.
Materializes a Fey, with metal in hand,
possessing an image of doing all that you can.
