Six of Wands...Victoria Regina

*azure ponders, should i, or shouldn't i? should i? ehhh...* well, i wrote the first poem...i'm not going to say what i think of it, lest i influence your opinion...i've posted it to my tarot journal, but i will post it here as well...i'm thinking i will probably write different things for different decks... in either case, i took out my VRT and spread them out...i asked which one wanted to speak to me today, and this is what i drew (and here is the poem) :) six of wands...victoria regina and so he rides to victory, the soldier brave and strong no tattered uniform, no wounded man head held high, with too much pride but has he really won? he looks to me, so cunningly and yet, i say... your battle's just begun within his mind, long and hard the fight but was it just a fantasy? for all his strength, for all his might the true test of his mettle is destined by virtue he can overcome whatever the struggle, whomever the foe he must be prepared for the skirmish fearless and headstrong, he travels his path well armed...he will meet victory ~azure p.s. if you choose to comment, pls be aware that it's been quite some time since i last wrote any poetry...this one did not flow as nicely as they normally do, but still...it was there...:)

Azure, That was beautiful. I wish I could express myself so beautifully. I don't have the VR deck, so I don't know what the card looks like. But your poem spoke volumes to me. Mimers

I like the devil one too :D I will check it out on the site you gave me the link to. I remember when you first let us know that you bought this deck for your hubby (chuckle, chulkle). I was wondering if he has had a chance to look at it. Or did he have to go buy his own. Take care Azure. Mimers
