I turned the card I not not why,
the woman let out a little sigh.
Card 13, it said Death
I told her "Don't just now feel bereft...
A transformation I see for you.....
a metamorphisis, something new...."
She rose and wiped a tear from her eye
"I use to know this wonderful guy.
He held me tight under the Moon,
we made love from Dawn 'til Noon.
But now his love has gone to another,
he is in the arms of the Great Mother"
The card that followed said 2 of Swords,
I saw her now lost for words.
"The conflict that is deep in you,
will soon discover something new"
The 2 of Cups I next turned over,
"Look and hear your departed lover,
he stands by you and touches your shoulder,
An angel of love who'll never get older"
The final card, number 21.
"His new life has just begun,
yours has too and he is giving
you the chance to start living"
She shivered and leaned to me near,
"Thank you" she whispered in my ear.
"For I see now the choice is mine,
up to now I've been blind.
My life is my own to discover,
and only I should change my Karma".

And a perfect description of how tarot can help people see through their pain and begin to heal.
Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you all for your kind words it really is just a poem :)
I wrote it (as I do all my poems) on the spur of the moment.
I have this private dream (well now it's not private) to one day have my poetry published, but scared of rejection it only ever peeps out once and a while here.

imagine that; I have the same dream.....
much of my poetry is very off the top of my head, I wake up and bang, out come the words...I'm driving & have to pull over so I don't lose it....
the only time I have to take time to write a poem is when I have a subject I want to write about.
would love to see more myst......don't be afraid, show us the one you think is the worst first.....lol....

That really was an awesome poem. I think you should make a site of some more of your poetry. Very, very good!
