Hi all.
Just thought I would share my tarot bargain of the day. Went into an old junk shop today and what should I find but an old scarf (very big), with tarot cards framing the design.
Here's a detail. A bargain for only 50p.

Very nice! I love going into used stores. You can usually find something different.

Not so sure yet. If I had a nice table to work on, then it would be a nice cloth to cover it with.
I was surprised to find it. I was delving through a basket and pulled out a corner with the wheel of fortune on it. Never seen a cloth like this one, not with cards on and stuff.
Heres a pic of the whole cloth.

Excellent!
Did you find that cloth or did it find you? ;)
What are those circles above the pictures of the cards? Are they just ornamental? It looks like they have symbols on them.

They have stars on them and there are symbols in between them but I am not sure what they mean. On one of them there are symbols which look like runes.
I am glad that you like it

Cool... wish I could find something as cheap and as nice. I am at present using a hideous black cloth. I am going to discard it, purchase a new one, and use the present one as a dishcloth. LOL.

Wow, that is so cool! Only unwrapping a new deck can equal the rush of making such an unusual, unexpected find. Enjoy this treasure!

Is it just me, or is the world your oyster right now Yaboot? ;)
It seems like every time I turn around, something groovy just came your way ... including this amazing scarf which I adore!!!
I was also thinking it would make a nice spread cloth, if you're not the type who wants solid cloth only when reading.
It's gorgeous, what a find ... it sure came right to you.

Wish the world was my oyster! Maybe that wheel will turn for the better soon! LOL
Armande, your table cloth looked fine to me! And your room looked nice and tidy - unlike my pit! Maybe the cloth will help me to be more focused. I hope it has good energies. Since it has been in my room, the door to my tarot cabinet opened by itself. I was a little surprised. Maybe a deck wanted to come out and be used on the cloth. You never know.
Here's the cabinet, sandwiched between a torso and the good old 7ft lady. I told you my room was jumbled!!!

Wonderful cloth! And it couldn't have found a nicer owner. Nice cupboard as well! If you ever want to get rid of cloth or cupboard, let me know!

Thanks. Actually I have a seperate room for both my kinesiology practice and for tarot. So it's relatively easy to keep it clean.
Love that cabinet!! WOW!

Okay, awesome, awesome cloth - congrats on getting your camera fixed - so happy we get to see the pics - and finally - WTH??? that was so awesomely bizarre to see giant body parts hanging out in your room. really surreal. loved it!!!! LOL

My room is full of body parts at the moment and I couldn't bring myself to move the 7ft lady next to the cabinet; she is rather heavy and has a habit of falling over so she had to stay put. I have many arms and hands draped over things, a few more torso's and tomorrow, hopefully, I will be inherriting a full size gentleman. Unfortunately, it should take a few trips since his body is in Maidstone and his head is in Rochester LOL. Yes, living with me does have its surreal moments!

And people wonder why I have nightmares!!!!!!!
Just thought I would add on the 7ft lady since she has been talked about enough. I am using her for my college project/tarot creation so in time, you may be seeing her again!!!
Hope this doesn't give you bad dreams. I sometimes wake up in the night with a jolt. She stands at the end of my bed.

Hi Yaboot,
I don't mean to keep bugging you about it, but do they look anything like this?

it struck me that you feel so jumbled and didnt seem to think much of your place, but i look at it all new and starry eyed and think WOW .

Thanks Catti - for the symbolism on the cloth and also for the nice comments about my 'stuff'.
As of this morning, I have a new edition to the 'jumble'.
Meet Jack; he's currently waiting by my window to have his left arm fitted properly.
