Dreaming about Tarot?

I'm not exactly sure why but many times the past week I've dreamt about Tarot Cards. I can't really remember specifics in the dream, other than I get flashes of certain cards in my dream, and I'm almost contemplating them in my sleep. I can't remember what I think about and what revelations I come to if any. Sometimes I can't even remember what cards flashed through my mind. I just remember that some did.
I think one card that flashed through my head was The Star...which happens to be my shadow card.
I'm pretty stressed in my life right now, preparing for some big changes. When I have tarot dreams like this I wake up with my body feeling refreshed but my mind still fatigued. I'm wondering if my subconcious deals with all the stress through Tarot in my sleep in some way. Either way, I know it's very busy doing something.
Any opinions or similar experiences having to do with this?

I once had a dream that involved tarot cards and I couldn't see the actual cards in the dream either or remember them. At the time, there were some important issues going on at work (and the dream was about work at well), so I took it as a sign to do a reading about those issues (which I hadn't done yet). I did, and the reading was pretty helpful. ;)

Hi Jaykob
Yes I did have a similar experience a little while ago, i woke up feeling very confused and came here for help and I was glad I remembered my dream because it really did have have something to say to me. I normally don't believe that dreams have meaning for me, because I notice it was just things I did throughout the day but this one stood out because I was not thinking of the tarot that day and the situation that the cards are talking about. Take a look at this thread:

I dreamt of you!
Dear Le Corsair,
I hope you will not find this inappropriate! I had a funny dream two nights ago about the Tarot de Marseilles. I kept seeing Le Mat and your name interchanged on the bottom of the cards. This happened for hours on end, or so it seemed to me.
I hope I have not offended you! I just thought I would let you know in case it meant anything to you. I have never dreamt of an Aeclectian member before and I thought it strange.
Much love and light to you, Belladonna

I was going to start a new thread on this, but saw that an appropriate thread already existed. I had posted a thread on the Fournier Tarot De Marseilles a few days before Belladonna's dream, I am wondering if that was an influence? Since the card titles on the TDM are French, it is easy to make the substitution described in Belladonna's dream. How am I to interpret this? The layman's reaction to being associated with the Fool is to be offended; the tarot afficionado sees it as the start of something new, a clean slate. (personally, I wish the dream had been about my soul card, The Hermit, but why nitpick? I'm happy that SOMEONE is dreaming about me!) What do you think, folks? How do I interpret this dream, and how does it affect me? How does it affect Belladonna? Does the dream have anything to do with the quote by T.E. Lawrence I use as a signature?
(Thanks to Belladonna for graciously permitting use of her private message!)

I practice using semi-concious states of meditation at various moments of the day, providing the time, lighting, mental state of engagement and surroundings are right. Sometimes I get images that are tarot influenced and the imagery is quite striking. I use the tarot to help focus my meditation so, for me, tarot is more than just using a deck for readings.
One example is when I wanted find out if I could obtain a certain thing, I send out a "fool" that I mentally create. Minutes later, I receive a visitor, a magician, who points in a certain direction, facing a certain way, connected with the words "Lieber Animus". A bit weird but it was really clear on that occasion.
Now if I could just use it to bet on the horses . . .

I have heard it said that when one begins to dream in another language, the subconscious is beginning to *truly* absorb it as part of the Self.
Perhaps, you are now dreaming in the language of Tarot, even as you continue your personal studies. :)
