Has a reading ever knocked your socks (sox) off? taken your breath away? (help me out...desperately looking for more expressions of overwhelmed-ness here)
So tell me, what was it like, why was it so amazing? Tell me about your most unbelievable tarot experience.

Her Tarot of the Old Path reading was mixed in with her mind's eye view of sea lions, which is not in that tarot at all.
But it was within a week of my visit to Monterey and sea lions being near the path to the sea---the sea lions accompanied my husband and friend out near the breakwater. Sea lions are not in any way a personal motif, but I did have fun and recent experiences with the young, wild sea lions.
In this case, the reader was working with a new deck. Her reading should be posted for sometime in June or July. I would say the reader was very strongly in tune with my question--I had thought that renewal and refreshment might come with studying birds or painting them, based on a recent class.
It turns out the kayaking my husband and friends do are what we share for fun. So we're planning more trips soon.

No, not myself personally, but I did a reading for my sister-in-law once and it sure did knock her socks off. She kind of sat there and said nothing the entire time. I really wasn't sure if I was on the right track, because she just kept nodding her head.
I can't go into the details, obviously, because the reading was for someone else, but she wouldn't even tell me the question when I did the reading because it was on a very private subject. I got her feelings and her fears on the subject right on. I also, according to her, gave her very good advise, and helped her see the situation differently. A couple of months later, she told me the whole situation, and even I was impressed and very glad I helped her. Everytime I go to their house she asks, 'are you bringing your cards?'

Last year I had two Relationship Readings, using Umbrae's spread, but done by Marion.
The readings were to do with professional relationships at work.
Both of them were accurate down to the last detail and have helped me immensely in changing the situation to become much more effective, I still refer to them actually and they are still yielding useful information. The stand-out things were the accuracy of her analysis,, and the suggestions she was then able to make. These things have actually worked.
I suggested to dear Marion that she sets herself up in business as a Tarot Management Consultant, but I don' t think she has seriously considered it!
They were two that stand out, but every reading has given me something special, something that I have taken away.

I did a reading for a friend a while back. She was having a difficult time coming to terms with the fact that she might be pregnant. I used a seven card spread and the Wild Spirit deck. Every card drawn could be related to pregnancy and motherhood. The card representing her recent past was of a seed being planted, the card representing the presant time showed a seed taking root and the card representing the near future showed illness. The seventh card was one of bonding showing an older woman and a younger woman.
I told my friend that the cards where saying she was pregnant, and would be having some morning sickness and that she needed to go take a pregnancy test. The cards also showed me that she was having a baby girl. This information I did not tell my friend even though she kept after me for months to tell her if she was having a boy or a girl.
A few days later a pregnancy test confirmed the pregnancy and a few months ago an ultra-sound test showed that she was having a baby girl.
I seriously doubt I will have ever have a reading to compare to that one. It was just amazing.

Oh yea!
I've a couple for myself in the last few weeks, all telling me to be honest, I thought it was regarding one thing, but today, I think it might be about another thing.
And about two months ago, when I was home in the states for a rare visit, I did a reading for my mom using the "Shining Woman" tarot, which knocked both our socks off. It really touched her on a deeper, inner-personal level, but each point has come to be.
The feeling I get when these happen is....quietly exhilerating. I seem to know when a reading is really "true" - it gets me in the gut. My senses want to scream: "OH YEAH!" Well, maybe not scream, but there a ring of truth to them that I don;t get all the time. These are usually the very personal ones, where you know what you know.

One time the cards kept telling me that a woman was leaving her husband and children - and it kept telling me over and over with all of the relationship details. I kept asking myself for days, Who is this woman? And then a few days after that, I attended a family fiunction and found my sister-in-law was missing. When I inquired about her, someone told me she packed her bags and left.
I shocked myself!
