For those of you who fancy Goddess themed decks, and in particular, Diana and Artemis, I saw something on the History Channel.
It seems that archaeologists near Ephesus (Turkey) have discovered the remnants of an invading army of warrior women. Believing these women came south from present day Russia, they theorize these warrior tribes are the basis of the "Amazon Women" legends.
The finds are in and near the site of the various iterations of the Temples of Artemis. It is also theorized that the invading tribes played an unknown role in regarding the Temples.
This sounded fascinating, and would be an awesome deck idea.

Oh, that does sounds interesting! Sometimes we forget how many female goddesses were equated w/war, as our society tends to downplay/demonize physical aggression in females today...

I totally agree, isthmus. I personally am fascinated by the warrior goddess archetype (I guess that's the right term?), and I really feel that it's a facet that should not be neglected. Are there any decks that contain this sort of image? The woman in Strength isn't exactly a warrior type, except in the Sacred Circle.
