How many paid readings?

Hiya, Just wondering how many paid readings do you have per year. This can include ALL tools Tarot, psychic, mediumship, clairvoyance, palm, astrology, 1-2-1 and phone. Thanks! :D

I voted Never, but without the exclamation point. It is not that I don't believe in asking for payment, it is more that I have only been learning Tarot for a year now. I have done many readings for other people, but asking for practice. I was offered a job in a tea room on Saturdays for money, but declined because weekends are my time to do things with the kids. Some day I will do this though :)

Hi Maud, and great poll, but I'm a little confused. (Probably because I've just woken up...) Are you asking how many payed readings we ourselves 'buy'? Or are you asking how many we do and get money for? Kiama

Well... I wasn't confused until I read Mimer's post... It made me laugh because I just figured it was how many readings I buy for myself, it never occured to me that it might be how many paid readings I give. Oh well... I suppose either way the answer would be the same. I haven't paid for a reading yet, because the few readings I've had done have been by friends who didn't charge me. On the other hand, I haven't been charging for readings... yet! ;) One of these days... perhaps soon. Who knows?

interesting poll - 'never' for me too, maybe I'd charge if I was really experienced and wanted to set up professionally, but it hasn't felt right yet. I love it when someone does an exchange of some kind, like cooking a meal in return for a reading..... Obviously it doesn't have to be a tit for tat thing, but sometimes I find when there's an exchange of energies things work better..

I hope this sheads some light as I sometimes have a long winded way of getting to the point. How many times a year you go to see a pro reader? I work as a pro clairvoyant and I'm am tad shocked by how many times people have readings, it's like a drug!! I've had to use a bit ot tact sometimes an point the to other pros e.g Dr, financal adviser......... Saying all that I do pay for readings just because I like to see how others work with spirit rather than wanting to find out if I will walk off into them sunset with mam hunky man.....everyone has their own reasons which is right for them. I would go for 2-7 times per year, I will reduce to once per year.

I have not, as of yet, received a professional reading. I am not opposed to getting one. I just have not had the opportunity. The only place in my area looks a little shady: kind of dark, in a bad area of town. I think I'll wait until another metaphysical fair rolls into town.

Oooops, I misunderstood. In that case, none. My Aunt Nancy reads for me occationally, but I do not pay her. Usually if I need advise or another oppinion, I do a reading for myself, or I call Mom. sorry bout that! Mimi

Mimi I should of made 2 polls, another one for those who read for them selves esp. as most of us have our own decks. I remember when I was younger I done the most selfish thing by showing my sister how to read tarot. She wasn't so into it as I was but she was so spot on about things she never knew about me. She was saying I can't do this rubbish+ she knew me. I kept on saying to her just forget about them meanings of them cards for a while and tell me what your gut feelings are. So I wonder if the never option will be different in the other poll? :D
