Tarot and meditation

I've just started meditating (just yesterday) and i've found that using my tarot cards for focus is a good idea i tend to pick the wands because in tarot wands symbolize the sign fire and my sun sign is sagitarius (a fire sign)

I love to meditate! I am recently new to the idea myself, but it is so relaxing. Yes and I agree, the tarot does make an excelent focal point! Do you use meditation to get the meanings of your cards?
