Tarot ESP

I bought a Thoth deck... a couple of hours ago... and I got home.. took them out of the packaging... and just started looking through the cards.... well... just looking through them... random images started popping in my head... each image different with each card... I couldn't make out any of the details... but i know they were there... have any of you guys had this happen to you before... It's been happening to me alot.. outside of tarot lately... like.. I link with a person... For example.. I was talking to my friend ralph... who lives out in california... and I live in Illinois.. Well.. while talking to him.. i started answering questions he was thinking about.... but he didn't tell me the questions he was thinking of.. and I described... the way his house looked also... Any Ideas of whats been happening... its been like this for about 2 weeks... ~Danny

I believe that when you begin the process of inward listening, you may find many gifts that were yours all along that you never knew of before. These things we call ESP and such. The ability to open to these images is what is giving you such a strong link, I think. You seem to be naturally open to the process of receiving them, and then assimilating them into your consciousness. Many people cannot stay "open" enough to even receive images. :D I hope you follow it out! If it seems overwhelming at times, remember ... you are at the controls. You cannot overload your system. You will only get what you are ready to receive. Energetically you can only attract what you have room to receive, so it is impossible to ever be overloaded. Overwhelmed, yes. Overloaded, no. Best wishes to you and your new deck. It sounds like you may have much to learn from each other, and welcome to the forums.

Hello Thoth1884... Sounds to me like you have a gift that is worth exploring. I can get images... sometimes... but not so easily as you and not without a focul point. Apparently you don't need the kind of a crutch that I do... :D This is great! Work with it... develop it... strengthen it. What a wonderful gift! :D

Medium, psychic, clarivoyant, witch, freak, second seer, shaman ... Semantics, to me. Labels to box-hole your understanding. Labels provide categories which provide the anaylitical mind something to work with. You're working your non-anaylitical mind. My advice is throw away labels that might "stunt your growth." Mediums talk to spirits, my sister is a natural medium. If you feel this aspect of your gift is presenting itself as the most natural method of contacting your inner wisdom, I encourage you to follow it. In choreography, I once was told, when it came it to inspiration : "If you have a spark, BLOW on it!" Don't assume it will ignite on it's own, keep at it. Encourage yourself often, it's a discouraging process at times.
