Wen i was on holliday i went to a costume museum and while i was there i couldn't help myself thinking about wich deck would fit with every costume
Like you pick out the perfect shoes for e dress or the right scarfe for a jacket i was picking decks ( aren't i a terrible tarotholic ;) )
For example
The dresses i saw in the jane austen museum....Late 18 century would go well with the victoria regina tarot
A clown's costume would go very well with my beloved phantasmagoric theater tarot.
And which deck would fit a oscar? or a wedding?
Love

I think the Zerner-Farber deck/Enchanted Tarot would suit a wedding perfectly; the Jane Austen Museum costumes would fit nicely with the Sybilla decks, in addition to the Victoria Regina; for the Oscars, I might pick the Cosmic (because of the movie stars incorporated in the court cards).
What a fun thread! Thanks from a fellow tarotholic.

Oh Maan, this is too cute!
Alexander McQueen and maybe John Galliano on a dark day would make wonderfully psychotic haute couture for Vertigo.
Betsy Johnson would dress that quirky World Spirit deck up (is the name right?) the one w/all the fun naked ppl :)
Tom Ford would make raunchy outfits upscale, just like Manara.
Steve Madden would make lovely lovely heels for a ladies who know how to walk w/grace in the Goddess deck. You can't tell me Inanna doesn't wear stilletos! Anyways, I know darling Steve isn't so popular anymore but I swear he still makes the most comfortable heels!
[now superficial q - where does one find a dainty purse that can fit your tarot deck along w/wallet, compact and everything else??? sigh.....]

Nice associations from the both of you.
Betsy Johnson - I can see her in the Phantasmagoric too. All of that colour. Do you know the Japenese artist, Yayoi Kusama (the one obsessed with dots and stuffed phalic shapes)? She would also be right at home in that deck! Her clothes were always sculptural and full of life.
I can see Mugler in the Rohrig.

for the Motherpeace Deck....
and Yaboot i was trying to think of something couture enough for the Dali deck but that is really your field.
Olivia Hussey's balcony dress (from Romeo + Juliet) for Medieval Scapini....
