Ok, first of all, thanks for coming to check this out. At least you thought about helping! ;) Lol. Here's my question: I was looking through threads and stuff, and I noticed that some people have their own "home made" avatars. I was wondering how you do that? Because, even though I love the penticle and all (Lol) I would like another avatar. But I don't like any of the "pre made" ones. Thank you for your time! Help is at hand! To get a home-made avatar, you need to have 500 posts! You're well on your way......... Just another 487! And it's amazing how quickly one gets to that mark. And to get a personalised title, you need to be a subscriber.

samreid, The avatar choices are based off the number of posts each user has accumulated. As you post more, your avatar options increase. At 500 posts, you can upload your own avatar ... hence the personalized ones for those who are "Elder" status. And, I like the pentacle. Alissa indulges in the I-remember-whens : Heck, all we had when I was under 100 posts was four different colored lotus flowers to chose from. And we were HAPPY to have them! Before that, NO one under 100 had an avatar of any kind, if my memory serves me right (...lo these many long ... well, one ... year that I been 'round these parts). (walks away muttering, "whippersnappers...") ;)

Alissa, YOU whipper-snapper! I remember when this site, at its VERY beginnings, was beige (or was it yellow?)...that didn't last too long, thank the Goddess (aka Solandia). I haven't paid attention to my avatar for a while...the rose is long-ago wilted... :( hmmmm... [edit: i got rid of the rose...how do you like my hair? :d ]

Ha ha ha!! I can't imagine it being beige! I like the purple way better! Lol. :laugh: But really, I'm the real whippersnapper here! I only joined last month! :P Lol. But, it's cool to hear how much this place has developed! :) :OL
