Someone has done the tarot thing for me - take 4 cards and put them in a cross - she told me the meaning but i forgot, and i want to know it again.
The lowest was a cup or something being held by a goddly hand, it stood foor ultimate happyness or something like that
The card on the left was the lovers
The card on top was a card with an old man and those Pentagrams it was about finding the thruth and waking up in the real world
The card on the right was the tower
I'd like as much as information as you have and a picture of the cards, then i would be really happy,
Thanks,
Arie Hofland.

Sounds like the Ace of Cups, Lovers, 4 of Pentacles (not pentagrams), and the Tower.
You can see images for them at this site, along with the standard Rider Waite meanings: http://www.ata-tarot.com/resource/cards/index.html
I'm only guessing on the 4 of Pentacles, if she had a different deck, I'm not sure if the images would be the same, but you might remember when you check it at the URL.
As to the reading itself, remember that it also depends on the reader, quite often, rather than going with just the standard book interpretation--so what you were told may not sound the same as just looking the cards up online. She may have had position meanings on the spread also, which you haven't stated here--like the first may indicate you, the second may indicate the problem she sees, third might stand for the advice given, and 4th might be the outcome if the advice was followed. Or she could have used a different spread than this (I'm only guessing) or just read the cards as part of a story with no set meanings for each position. This would affect the interpretation she gave you also.
Hopefully, though, this will give you something to start with in remembering what she told you.

Thanks for your reply ;)
I've searched on the URL u gave me and the *missing* card i recognised as the Ten of Pentacles. I will read the things said at the URL and see if it is the same as i remembered *I remember she read the meanings from a book - but oh well* I hope i can have a bright future :P
If any of you have more suggestions - or maybe personal meanings - i'd really like to hear them.
Thanks again you helped me very much ;)
