We were talking about an Hermes tarot scarf, and moremagic noticed that Hermes actually put out a tarot deck. S/he mentioned that Hermes wouldn't be her choice of a designer-created deck, and I got to thinking. If you had to pick a designer to create a deck, who would it be? I bet Dolce&Gabbana's would be freaky...prolly dark too. Isaach Mizrahi's light hearted and frou-frou (I've never used that term before). That's said, I'm not that into the fashion scene, so maybe someone here would have more insight. Wait....Manolo Blahnik! That would be a neat one, prolly computer generated collage, primarily shoes!

I'd be curious to see a deck by Versace; I mean, how glamourous and dramatic would that deck be? Not sure if it would be very easy to read with though! xxx

Hi Violet Lotus - great minds thinking alike here! I can see a deck by Yves Saint Laurent - very glamourous and elegant and beautifully made - or one by Armani, moderne and minimalist and very usable, sort of the well-dressed reader's substitute for Rider-Waite. MoreMagic (she)

he..he... I like this idea! i know what i wouldn't want: Calvin Klein-with all the shades of grey and cream and no details... only real-real psychics would be able to read that.... maybe Gaultier then? (did I spell it right?) I can imagine both the Empress and the High Priestess with pointy bras!!!! (I hope not the Hieropant too!!!!!) anyway, thanks VioletLotus, for bringing up this nice , fun excercise... it's amazing how tarot can just be in everything!!!! :)
