Decorating with Cards and such...

To give my home a supernatural flair during the fall season, I printed out scans of a few of my fave "scary" tarot cards, and stuck em' around the house. Also, I printed out some Victorian- era "spirit" photographs, as well as a couple black and white photos of Bela Lugosi, all of which look very neat near a candle and tucked into the trim of my mirrors...
Does anyone else use Tarot in any form of decor? Or have an interesting way to store or display fave cards and/or decks? It is my understanding that some folks have decks just for reading, and others, just for aesthetic purposes. BTW, here's the website I got the 19th century "spirit" photos from- it's worth a look!

Hi, I thought those pictures were pretty neato! What a cool idea about hanging them up in your house to add some spooky mystery thingie...I dig that! I think it's so rad! LOL! I knew this guy that collected decks just for the heck of it-because of the art work. Supposedly he hung them around his house in picture frames with matting. I never saw it myself, but I imagine it looks awesome. Do you have a digital camera? It would be cool to see what you did with your tarot cards.

Yes I have enlarged five cards from the Art Nouveau by Catelle, framed them in antique gold frames. I hung them in my hallway that goes to my round reading room. I enjoy viewing them and I feel that they set the ambience and the purpose of the room to follow. I also have five tiny pictures from Healing with the Angles on my dresser framed in gold filigree and two 4x6 in gold frames in my kitchen. Most people that view these pictures admire the art work and are surprised that they are from tarot cards.

I haven't done it yet, but I've been thinking about framing some cards from decks that I bought for the artwork rather than for reading. I can't really think of anything else decorating wise to do with them without ruining them.
