Finding Lost Items Using Tarot???

I wonder... has anyone here ever been able to discover the location of a lost item using their cards? And if you did, how did you manage it? Perhaps by assigning each suit a room (like cups is the bath, pentacles the kitchen, and so forth)? A silly question, but it sure would be useful if possible!

Argh! In this case, I would probably go in for having a rough plan of the place you want to search and a simple pendulum (a heavy ring on a string will work). The thing is, the cards tend to bring up all sorts of stuff, and most decks are set to provoke an emotional response, which works well when it's a person or event you're trying to read. But when all you're looking for is a place, usually there's just too much information to sort through.
If I had to use the cards, I think I would simply draw one, and let my mind see what connections it wanted to make until a specific place to search came popping up.

You could apply the principles of horary astrology to tarot. See, for example:

For astrological-to-tarot correspondences, you can use those established by the OGD or use your own.

I just used the tarot to find a lost item this weekend! My husband had been searching and searching for his lost keys since last Friday-- we were certain they would turn up but a day went by and they hadn't turned up. He started getting very frustrated and so I did a reading and the first two cards that came up were the Moon and Fertility (aka The Empress)-- I also saw I think it was a 9 of cups upside down-- which ever one shows a rainbow coming out of a cup and those three things just said to me they had been dropped in our bedroom. I went and looked particularly around our bed (fertility and all :)) but nothing.
And THEN the next morning-- I was putting laundry away and in my underwear drawer in our bedroom-- I was rearranging a few things and VOILA-- the keys!! Pretty cool, eh? :)

I once did asked the tarot when my husband had lost his work badge. I used just a one-card draw--asking for clarity rather than lots of directions.
I drew the Emperor. As I studied the card, thinking, yes Tarot, he's the father of the family, but I need more--I *got* "look where he sits."
So I looked all around the two main places he sits in the house, one particular chair and his office chair. Nothing. My husband looked all around his chair at work. Nope.
The next day he found it in his car by the driver's seat--the 4th main place he consistently sits!
Wish the tarot had shown me the chariot . . . guess I needed that second card after all. :)
