Power of Suggestion or Card Clicking?

Hi all I wanted to share something with you'all because I'm sure that you will appreciate it and be able to offer maybe some advice and/or some suggestions for me related to it. First, I would like to say I'm really excited about what has been going on. I feel like I finally have this deep connection with my cards. I do not use a book, I use the pictures to guide me and my gut instinct to guide what comes out of my mouth. I try not to repress what I say, even if it is not necessarily good. I blurt it out, flat out. The only thing I do is try to explain to the person that this is the path they are on now and it can be changed for good or bad. I want them to know that just because I saw something doesn't mean it's going to happen... The mind is so powerful I dont want to feel that the power of suggestion takes over. Make sense?

Anyways, yesterday before I went to school I read this girl I had just met. We will call her "that girl" for now. Anyways "that girl" I read was extremely nice and I decided to offer her a reading after talking with her for about five minutes. I read her and I saw some trouble ahead for her. I explained to her that I saw some trouble ahead for her and it was related to legal issues. The cards suggested to me some kind of court situation and a loss or gain of money. Needless to say, this was not an unusual reading for me. Well, today I found out that she was put into jail for probabation violation. I was in complete shock. Well, come to find out that she has not been paying her probation fees and a warrant was served and she was arrested. I cannot believe this. It was so accurate.

Lately, this has been happening with every person I read. No, not every person goes to jail, but every person I read well I see what is going to happen and it happens. This is great but I also am wondering if this is the power of suggestion taking place? Can anyone relate to me and help me out with this internal conflict I'm having related to my readings? I would appreciate it very much. I'm wondering if I'm just totally clicking with my cards now... Or if this is powerful suggestion? Any insight is welcome. Thanks.

there is a point when doing readings were the reader could well influence the client .In the case you mention I feel that this isnt the case. One has always to take care not to be too directive and controling, the client must be left with choice of action. Here is an example of an actual case of destructive direction:
Several years ago there was an article in one of the tablet newspapers about a woman who had been arrested, yet again for loitering in hospital grounds... 18 months earlier she had visited a Tarot reader and the reader had told her that she would meet and Marry a doctor and would have a happy and fulfiling life with him. The Tarot Reader had taken "choice and control" from the client and by that had ruined her life.

You obviously weren't influencing this girl. I mean, her case had been working against her for some time, before you met her. The warrant for arrest was probably already written out. You just saw that in the cards.

OriginalDestiny: If it is a tabloid newspaper where you got your article from, it's probably a lie. Even good newspapers need to be taken with a pinch of salt. Tabloids should be read as novels and light entertainment. I mean, even if that woman did say that she had gone to see a Tarot reader - she was obviously a bit of a nutcase - so she could have been making that up.

IrishRiotGirl: The cards know so much.... and if you are able to recognise what they tell you, and you learn how to distill the information with wisdom, you will be able to do a lot of good around you.

working on old memories here; a rather famous "Agony aunt" mentioned this whilst being interviewed on TV..she had received a cry for help fom a reader of the paper she wrote for and had included the poor unfortunate persons story in her column.
If you like, read it more for the lesson within.

Thank you for the information, you guys made me feel better. I just started to question whether or not I was influencing the person and making them bring out the things I say because they believed it to be. I am going to have to keep track of everything thouroughly and maybe I can look back in my notebook and have some kind of understanding. Thanks for the replies, they are appreciated.
