I just got a part time job working in a bookstore. Not only do I get paid but I get the 30% employee discount!!! To celebrate I had the store special order the Ramses tarot for me. I picked it up this afternoon. I love it! The pictures are so detailed and vibrant it will take a while to see all the details. I think once I have handled it awhile I will use it to do readings on a regular basis. I hope my Vampire deck doesn't get too jealous!!!
I also picked up a used copy of the Universal Waite tarot. I must say it is a great deal prettier than the original. Blessing, wolfen

Oh boy, 30% off -- Barnes and Noble is a major tarotholic enabler! Congrats, that sounds like a great job.

I really love the Ramses tarot. I have not used it yet, I am too busy trying to absorb all the images/symbolism. This is definatly not a Waite clone nor is it a deck for beginers. The cards are very detailed and realisticly done. Often there is more than one figure on each card. It will take some getting used too--but this will become a favorate deck for me.
