Here it is, ladies and gentlemen! (Courtesy of a comment made by Baba-Prague in another thread. ;) )
If you were to design a Tarot Theme Park, with rides and other attractions, what would you put in it?
How about the Fool's Fall, a ride with a vertical drop off a cliff?
The Wheel of Fortune would have to be one of those very fast spinning rides.
Chariots = Bumper cars? Ooh, but the horses (or sphinxes (sp?)) would wind up with some nasty bruises, though.
And how about different areas of the park for different decks? The Thoth Cavern and Cosmic Tribal Village would have to be adult only, I'm sure.
Come one, come all, to the Tarot Theme Park, where the cards come alive!
Oh, and there should be mini-donuts, too.
Peace,
Melvis

P.S. This probably belongs in chat, but I thought it was Tarot theme-y enough to be here! Move it if you need to, moddies! :D

The Sun would be one of those pony rides, of course!
And the Devil card the fun house with mirrors? All showing aspects of "YOU" to keep in theme.
Oh! OH! Bungie jump with the Hanged Man! Be the first in your group to climb 80' up into the air & dare to jump off. Nobody pulls you up, you have to do that yourself!
The lion at the petting zoo - make sure it's not a goat in a lion suit, if it eats the flowers it's not likely the real thing.

The Moon log ride through many dark shadows, hills, valleys, and of course lots of Water.
And the Roller Coaster of the Stars, where it launches you up close to them and then, like a falling star, you fly at the ground screaming all the way.

hmmm.. most theme parks have a place where you could dress up in western wear and get your pictures taken in a saloon atmosphere..
so why not a place where you could choose a card backdrop and dress up to fit the card.. :D

Of course that wouldn't be practical, so how about a LooneyTunes Disneyesque flavor?
Chariot of the Gods Peoplemover--you'll ascend straight to Heaven sooner than you think.
Temperance TeaCups Room--a bit of a spin.
Lover's Looney Hawaii Honeymoon--or Niagra Fallout & Rapids
Sun & Star Cabana Lounge & Karioke--for the mentally tone deaf

The Death Ride would be very dark, of course. A trip through a haunted house, in which scythes swish past your head, way too close for comfort.
And at the end, you're shoved outside through a narrow, stretchy opening: reborn!

the chariot is like a merry go round but has chariots instead of ponies.
justice is the park security office

The Wheel of fortune would have to be a ferris wheel!
The Hermit isolation tank...
The Hanged Man would be one that spins you upside down till you see things differently (or puke)
The Chariot as either bumper cars or a really fast roller coaster...
This sounds like so much fun. When is it going to open? :)

There does exist a tarot theme park of sorts called the Tarot Garden, created / constructed by Niki de Saint Phalle in Tuscany, Italy. The Tarot Garden has huge walk through sculptures based on her interpretations of symbols from the Tarot. More info at:
http://www.nikidesaintphalle.com/
There's a virtual tour on this site. Has anyone on Aeclectic ever visited the Tarot Garden?
