If this helps anyone, when I started learning the tarot, after I had figured out the Major cards I tried to start at The World & go back to the Fool, card by card till I could do it like abc. I still do that now just for fun, it's like saying the alphabet backwards, which I'm not trying to learn at all. It's fun try it. LOL

... to add to the alphabetic metaphor and exercise, ros, have you tried picking any card (imaginatively) and quickly naming its predecessor and successor? Or naming all the ones which have a female figure - or a male figure. In order, and in reversed order. Another one is to play around with the various titles used in various decks for the same card. All wonderful 'games' to add to your wonderful suggestion.
