Would anyone have any advice for me please?
I have 6 readings this weekend on the same day. Which is the best advice anyone can give me to keep my energy up. I have done this before but I'm very drained when I'm done. I go home , bath & go to bed. I drink only water during the readings. Thanks for ANY kind of advice you might have for me.

Definitely a good idea to drink loads of water - more than you think you can possibly need! A medium friend says he always has a craving for sweet things once he's finished - so perhaps take something along those lines too for afterwards?

I would think that if you could get up between readings or after a few and just walk around to clear your mind, that would help. Perhaps take a Balance bar or something like that with you to keep your energy up.

I absolutely agree with both of these: lots and lots of water.
Will you have a break in the middle?
Best to, eat and ground yourself for the next session....
Enjoy the experience, Ros, reading a lot can create a beautiful energy and insight.

yes I will take a short break 1/2 way , but I like to go till I'm done once I start. My mind after is very light but my body feels very heavy.

I never have trouble keeping my energy up during the readings. Sometimes if it's busy I go 5+ hours with one reading after another. I drink water, fruit juice and green tea. I eat little snacks when I have time. But like you when I get home my heads floating and my body feels like lead.
I take a shower, and eat something. For some weird reason I often crave instant mashed potatoes when I get home. I think it brings up my blood sugar level fast.
I tend to play my readings over and over in my mind and some times new insights will come up. Then I call the person the next day, if they indicated that they would like that.
But right when I get home I just want my mind to go blank for awhile. I like to curl up on the couch in my jammies and pop in a movie that I've watched a hundred times before and just veg out.

Everything said was great. I've done up to 30 readings in a day, and it can be very draining.
First and foremost, get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast, high in protien and low in carbs, so you don't crash mid-day.
Take energy bars; I like the Govinda Blissbar's Sesame Seed bars. Yummy, all natural, and good energy push.
Drink water, fruit juice, and herb tea of course.
Practice grounding and centering regularly before readings. Get up and walk around a bit every half-hour or hour if you can. If you have a good grounding crystal or stone, bring it and hold it.
Breathe deeply and slowly. Sit up straight, and wear comfortable clothing, especially your shoes. Try to have a comfortable chair.
You probably already know all this, just passing on what I've had to learn the hard way!
When you get home, take a long, hot bubble bath scented with your favorite scent (mine's Amber). Make someone else fix you dinner - even if it's Pizza Hut!
Best of luck!

Aaahhhhhhh!!!!
I'm only doing one or sometimes 2 a day. Mostly for myself or my lovely friends on AT and it exhausts me! Until recently I've only been reading for myself but even so I haven't watched TV for weeks and I dont seem to have any time for myself, my ironing almost reaches the ceiling and the kids are fed up with microwave meals. Why is it that each of the readings I do seems to take me ages? I lay out the cards, (usually have an immediate reaction to them) then I may change my mind a little, then try to look at the spread as a whole so that it flows. If I had a real person with me they'd soon be fed up!

Grounding and centering is good advice. I do have some suggestions too:
First: before every reading, take a meditative minute or two and call the universal energy to your aid by imagining it streaming into your body from your roots (feet) and 7th chakra in the form of white light and then building up a protective area around your aura which will keep your enery in, let through information from your consultant, but nothing that will hurt you or sap your energy.
Second: after you're done for the day, the shower you take can be used too: just imagine the water washing away "contaminations" from your aura and replenishing your reserves...

Thanks for replys.
I'm up to 8 readings now & yes if I have coffee I will be able to run up the walls backwards. LOL I'll be nervous until the day & then I'll just be so serious.

Lots of good advice here, but here's my tip. Strong chamomile tea (give the teabag a good squeeze!) keeps things steady and stops me from 'spacing out' too much at the end. As long as I remember to drink at least one cup per hour I'm in a nice relaxed (but not exhausted) state by the end of the day.
