Hmmm, I just said aloud to myself, "I love Knights!" Then a thought struck me...for the longest time I was attracted to The High Priestess card and the 3 of Swords card...Now, they don't thrill me so much. I find now I love Knights!! All of them!!!...so the question is:
Do you think changing attractions to cards symbolizes something in ourselves, some kind of growth perhaps?
AND
Has this happened to you?

I think whatever is going on with you personally is what shows on the outside, so your choice of cards would also change. There were some cards I never liked but as I continued to study & understood more about the meanings & of life in general, my favorite cards always continue to change . If I do not like a card I always pick it apart till I know why.

Definetely an attraction to a certain card can reflect your outlook on life in a certain moment
It might reflect your perception of the circumstances, your attitude towards them, or maybe what you're missing at a certain point and need to find
it definetely symbolizes change when your attraction switches from one card to the other.
In many cases it can also involve growth, but not necessarily since change doesn't involve growth as we all know
I guess it depends on the cards
For sure it does involve moving on
It has happened to me. For a very long time I was pretty much in sync with the Queen of Pentacles. But for the past few months I believe I'm slowly moving into the Queen of Wands, she seems to be taking the place of the QoP. I don't know if that necessarily implies growth, because I don't think that one is better than the other. But definetely expansion in un-explored areas of my own personality

For a long time, I felt atrongly attached to the Eight of Swords, I saw myself as the woman trapped; I was feeling very low and negative, and so this card spoke to me - I knew there was a way out, but couldn't see it or feel for it. Now I find myself more connected with the Queen of Pentacles, and feel that her approach to life is similar to mine; shopping, enjoyment of life, generosity, passion. Or maybe I'm just becoming even more of a shopaholic and need an excuse... lol!

I've always loved the Moon card - and I've always been known as a challenging/difficult/intuitive person.
I also like the 4 of swords - it reminds me of Elizabeth Goudge's stories for some reason, and now that I'm thinking about it, it could be thought of as the procrastination card. I'm more of a do-it-and-get-it-over-with type, but when it's something I loath, I can procrastinate to an infinate power. And, on the other side, I can be so focused I don't take any time for myself when I need to. So typical for swords, the dual edge.
Since I'm here writing instead of cleaning my house, I'm thinking it's pretty apt, and maybe I need to be thinking more about wands today.....lol.....

When I first started out I was very attracted to the Queens, particularly the Queen of Cups. It does change with time though. I always feel some kind of attraction to the Tower, and the Star.

Yes, I agree. For a while, I was attracted to the Star, but now, I find myself loving Death and Moon cards. I'm all about letting go of old patterns and changing, so I guess that explains it. The Star just isn't enough for me anymore.

most definitely it signifies changes in your life. In fact, I make it a point to pick out my favorite card once every 6 months, as all the cards have their own person meanings.
