hi,
what is your take on the 2 of cups and the ace of cups... and what would be the difference for the two of them... their similarities and differences? thanks.

I guess it would depend on your spread and the surrounding cards. But I also look at the cup cards as representing love the vital life force. I see the two of cups symbolizing a union of some kind between people...but that depends on the spread. I also see the ace of cups symbolizing a need to love onesself. Now this is how I personally look at them with my cards, I know that everyone is different but this is just my opinion.

thank you for your reply and insight. I see the page of cups as a need to love oneself.

Cups: Water; Love, Emotions, Spirituality
That's how I'd basically define cups. As for the Ace of Cups, I see it as the spark for a relationship, love of a person or thing, or spiritual enlightenment. Think of Twos as duality, a union of two people, ideas, or choices; or, a divergence of paths. The Two of Cups represents friendship and love; ie. the direction the spark, or energy, takes--love toward another person or thing.
