Hello,
I would like to know if any of you has made expirience with someone reading tarot for you on the phone.
I wanted to have a reading for myself and the reader I usually go to didnt have time. Since I am very much involved inn the subject I didn t want to read for myself.
Ok, I decided to have a reading on the phone (the reader did have a good and honest reputation) and the whole reading turned out to be soooo good. I mean concerning my questions. She saw past and present very clear also.
If any of you has done this before please feel free to answer, positive or negative. And also, do you think there is a difference in an one-on-one reading?
Love,
Lillith

Hi Lilith,
I haven't had a reading my self, but I read for others using the telephone.
It makes no difference that the person isn't there with you, but this way you still have that connection.
The reader was recommended to you, that is best way. I wouldn't advise ringing the premium numbers that are advertised in the magazines. They are thought to be a bit of a con.
Gloria.

Over the telephone, now that's something I have never thought of. Interesting.

over the phone, on the internet, in person...for me it makes no difference - as long as I can "plug in" the reading can be very good.

Thanks for your input.
I guess it is ok as long as you do plug in with someone.

I have never done over the phone readings but I have a friend who's mother lives on the west coast ( and we are in the midwest) used to do phone readings for her all the time.... It was kind of erie, I think because she did not talk to her mother all that often. Mom would just call out of the blue and say "I did a reading ..." and bam .. completely accurate.
I think that was her mothers way of keeping informed.

I have just started to do readings over the telephone. It seems to be going quite well so far. I did worry that I wouldn't be able to connect with people over the 'phone, but now it's easy.
Just a thought - one thing that sceptics are always accusing Tarot readers & psychics of is reading body language/facial expressions. But you can't do that over the telephone, so that scuppers that theory!

Hedera
(who should be working on her novel but is procrastinating terribly, however will make up for lost time by using the verb 'to scupper' until the point of exhaustion)
ps: Very true, by the way. Good point!

Well,
I like how this thread grows. Especially hearing from someone who has been on the reader side, thanks psychiclayla!
By the way, your comment about readers looking at body language and other things to have an impression on the person asking was very good.
I expirienced now on the phone with one reader (ok, I did try to get some kind of confirmation and know that you shouldn t ask the tarot the same thing during a short time period!) that I felt questioned befor she shuffeled the cards.
I asked about my relationship and she asked for 1. my birthdate, 2. his birthdate and 3. in what kind of relationship we are ( like married, seperated etc.)
That was more than weird, and on top she was pretty harsh and made a bad prediction after asking me all that.
My other expiriences were better, no telling. All good readings I hade done were with readers who didn t ask anything, especially not about life situations.
Whats your way of doing those readings, psychiylayla?
Love and light,
Lillith

SCUPPER - To sink (as in ships). It's an old local saying!
Lilleth, that reader sounded like she was asking a lot of questions! Everyone has a different way of course. I start by pulling 3 cards and giving the person a little story based on what I'm seeing. They can usually relate to this pretty well & we take it from there. I only ever ask the first names of people. Any more detail than that & I get confused! I ask the age of anyone under 18. This makes things easier to put things into context (whether they are at school, college or in a job etc).
Some people do fish for information over the 'phone. Telephone psychics are encouraged (in some organizations) to do this. But I don't like this way of working. In my opinion the cards will tell you everything you need to to know to give a good reading. Excessive extra info is just unnecessary (try saying that 3 times quickly lol!)
