Yes or no
I use to say it was bad uga booga to do Sunday readings & now I can't change my mind about it. I feel like I'm changing karma if I start now. (Darn those thoughts, I'm really not religious )lol
I think it's a yes for everyone else.

Ros,
How about pulling just one card on Sundays...just to start out. See how it makes you feel. Then eventually you can progress with more readings. :)

What is it that makes you feel bad about it?
If you examine why, that's a start!
The one card draw mentioned by Jen may be a good start, if you want to read on Sundays...

It's not anything really, I guess I just thought it was one of the rules many years ago &stuck with it.
I just figure if Sunday is a day of rest, that's the day to bring your energy together (or settle your energy). The energy that helps you do readings.
I really don't know.

I don't have a problem with Sunday readings myself. It's never even crossed my mind to question that. We all have different ideas about such things.
I used to have a ritual every night for which I had to check the lock on the front door 7 times. If anything interupted my count, I would start over. Now that is weird. hehe Anyhoo, it passed. I'm not sure when, but I guess at some point I stopped feeling the need to do that and just quit.
As long as what you're doing feels right and doesn't hurt anyone, more power to you. :)

My mom was raised Catholic, and held to that belief as well.
When I lived with her a couple years a go, I respected her wishes and didn't conduct any readings or do anything else tarotwise on Sundays.
I personally don't differentiate, but it is not an unheard of ritual to abstain from anything divinatory on Sundays.
I think there is mention of this in the book to the "Russian Gypsy Fortunetelling Cards."

Alissa sings, "Sunday morning is every day for all I care ..."
For me, Fridays are holy days to Hindus, but are not considered days of rest, even so.
But...
What's more important than days of the week is : if you feel you're ready to switch paradigms, you can do it. :) Don't let emotional decision making stop you from being who or what you want to be. It sounds like you just need a good reason to believe in yourself, to let go of the ooga booga. So :D believe it!!! If you want to read on a Sunday, just do it. If you don't, don't.
That's how I see it anyhow.

As I am an allday-anytime reader I don't bother about readings on Sunday.
Just do what feels right for you.

I am a Christian and I feel it is okay to do readings on Sunday. In fact, is alright to communicate with God anytime. I believe he is open 24 hours a day!
What better day than to speak to God!

I think that Sunday is as good as any other day to come into contact with ones higher self.

I was bought up in a household that wouldn't touch a pack of cards on a Sunday - I think it was more about the gambling and superstition. I don't have a problem with using my cards on a Sunday now but at first I did, It did feel like it was wrong but its just another day now and to be honest most of my readings are done on a Sunday because its quiet and I can concentrate.

I have never believed that supersition and Tarot fit together.
And not reading on a Sunday, or a Monday, or on Christmas day or whatever, would to me be in the range of superstition.
