Anyone else have a favorite or two? Mine is: "What falls on the floor, comes to the door." (Used repeatedly by my tarot teacher during shuffling!)

Horrible cliché: "It's in the cards."

Another horribly clichéd one:
"The Death card never means physical death..."

Indeed Rusty Neon: that's why to me that phrase is merely a cliché. Experience has taught me that every now and then it's obvious that the Death card isn't this nice and fluffy ending/new beginning/turning-over-new-leaf card... :(

Don't want to take my own thread too far OT, but that is so sadly true. I did a reading for one of my closest friends fighting cancer -she was so happy that her last tests had shown the chemo had worked and she was cancer free. I guess i don't need to tell the rest of the story.

Or, courtesy of the Simpsons, "No, no, Death is good, Death means change."
P.S. Woo, this is my 78th post - one for each card of the Tarot! :D

"You can't buy your own decks". Really? Can't think of a better person to buy them. ;-) If I had to hunt a friend down everytime I wanted a new deck, I wouldn't have any left!

You must never read with a deck used by another...
I think maybe 10 of mine were still sealed when I bought or received them.
Of My main 5 reading decks only one was brand new and sealed.
However when someone else says they can't read with a deck used by another, I accept that that individual can't.
